To Die For

My mother once said. Don't let love take over your life. But she was all about the education. Don't get me started on my father; the drug addict. What a life huh? I know I should save the lesson learned from the end but, who knows if I'm gonna ever finish this book or if you even bother to read it. Love what you have now before it disappears, and respect what you know will be with you forever because some people won't ever have it. Sadly, I learned all those things the hard way.

Chapter 6

I opened my eyes and realized.

It was the last day of school.

I smiled.

Everything went well until 4th period. It was a dark room actually, my school was a cheap school, it was free. That's why I was signed up for it. Otherwise, I'd be stupid.. er..

"Can someone tell me the area?" Asked my teacher."You." I turned around and saw.. a figure, it was a shadow, something familiar yet, different. Scary. I looked forward, what was it?

I snapped out.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Can you repeat what she said?"

"No I can't sorry."

"You're lucky it's the last day of school."

At lunch, I sat alone near the trees again. I could see the smile on everyone's faces and everyone getting their friends numbers, even strangers for an after party. I wasn't invited, I wouldn't wanna go to it anyways.

I felt a wind by my side. It was Nash.

"Hey." I smiled.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Nothing I see, not surprised."

"Jerk." I teased.

We laughed for awhile, his hands were near mines, I wanted to hold them. I really did. I moved it closer, then..

"Hey there."

I looked up.

It was 1/600th of the sluts. One of those girls again.

"Not you." She pushed me out of the way and sat next to Nash."What's your name?"

"Nash." He replied.

"Well my name's Monica."

"Guess what Monica?"

"What's that?" She leaned in.

He leaned in closer to her.

"I don't give a shit."

He got up and took my hand.

"Thanks." I said.

"Again, I do things to save myself, Blondie."

"And me."

"Think whatever you want."

"Can I ask you something?"

"In my math class, I saw a figure, shadow, what was it? Do you know? It was a shadow but, I could tell it was staring at me."

"An hallucination?"

I paused the walk. I turned to him.

"There's something you're not telling me."

"And what's that?"

"Please tell me, it's not like I'm gonna tell anyone."

"Not yet." He smiled.

We continued our walk. I didn't like the fact that he hid these things from me. I wanted to punch him in the face.
