Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you feel trapped? Where you can do nothing else but scream at the top of your lungs to get out? Nothing but darkness surrounded us. The sound of our breathing could only be heard, nothing else.
My heart was beating against my chest. We ran all the way here. Zayn had given us his apartment to hid in. Camille and I both thought the same thing. We didn't want them to find us here, but knowing Ethan, he was very persistent.
He wasn't going to give up until he had one of us dead, until he had me dead. I don't regret meeting Camille. I don't regret falling in love with her. I don't regret any moment that she and I spent together.
To tell her that I love her just wasn't the right time. We stood in silence, our bodies pressed up against one another. I wish I could see her face and look into her beautiful eyes. I wish that things were different, but if they were, our paths wouldn't have crossed.
Outside the first door was being broken in. They found us. Ethan found us. "I want you to run." I whispered into her ear. Camille refused to listen to me as she shook her head. "Camille, one of us has to live." I said.
I could barely see her face in this light, but I reached up and touched her cheek only to feel a tear. I wiped in away. "I want it to be you." She shook her head again. Dammit Camille, why do you have to be so stubborn?
"It's both, or neither." I told him. God, I love you. I pick you. The door of the closet opened wide and I was pulled from the closet. "Camille, run!" I called out. Within seconds of her blond hair leaving the room, a gun was pulled towards my face.
With quick reflexes, I fought Ethan to get the gun out of his hands. He shot off in one direction. A few more shots followed and the two of us fell to the ground.
