I can't stand this. Reese is throwing a fit about Blake and Joey leaving. She's in her room, wailing. I have to do something about this.
"Kyle, I don't know what to do. We've barely been married for two months, a-and now he's.. He's ch-cheated on me." I stutter. Joey wipes my tears with his sleeve, and I manage a small, but sad, smile.
"Mommy, remember. Niall doesn't deserve you." Joey says. "You can still call him Daddy." I tell him. "No, i don't wanna see him ever again. He hurt you. And that's all he's ever done."
"Oh, baby." I hug my son, and start crying again. He acts so grown up for his age. Soon, the doorbell rings, and Kyle carries in a tiny figure.
"Mummy!" She wriggles free from Kyle's hold, and jumps onto the couch with Joey and me. "Reese, baby, where's Daddy?" I ask.
"He told me to stay with you." She grins. "Why'd you leave us, Mummy?" She asks, hurt in her voice.
"Daddy made me sad. I had to leave." I tell her. "Why didn't you take me?" She questions. "You only took Joey. Does that mean you love him more?" She asks.
"Of course not, Reese. I thought Daddy wanted you to stay with him" I say. "Clearly not." Joey whispers, barely loud enough for me to hear.
"But no one asked if I wanted to stay with Daddy."
A car engine starts, and I hear the car speed off. At the same time, I get a text from Niall.
Niall: You take her
