4. Chapter 3

January 2nd

Bronty's P.O.V

We approached a small café which was about 10km's away from the hospital, it was a small clean café, but it was way better than eating that disgusting hospital food.

I gazed out the window and smiled, its been nearly two years since I've been out of a hospital, the world has changed so much since I was 12, but that's what society does; it changes all the time.

I was too busy gawking at the scenery that I hadn't noticed that we had pulled up and parked, I felt a tap on my head, that's when I snapped out of my trance. I turned around and was face to face with Dad.

"Sweetie, were here."

I laughed

"I noticed, Dad."

He smiled and waited for me to get out of the car before he closed the car door behind me. I looked around and noticed someone standing at the entrance of the Café. I ran up to dad and pulled his hand.

He looked down at me with worry in his eyes.

"What's wrong Bronty?"

I took a deep breath and pointed to the cafeteria door.

"The man over at the cafeteria door looks familiar to me, its kind of weird. Are we expecting someone to be joining us for lunch too?"

He glanced over at the door and smiled.

"We are indeed, I know who that man is, why don't you go say hello, I bet you would love to see them."

I sighed and started walking towards the door.

As I got closer and closer to the door I realised who it was, as I approached them I stopped.

He turned around and smiled

"Omg, Bronty its you! You look even more beautiful."

I blushed and leaped on him wrapping my legs around his waist and hugging into him.

"I've missed you so much Austin, are you joining us for lunch?"

He laughed his adorable laugh

"Of course I am, your father and family invited me to join youse, pretty cool aye?"

I nodded and smiled.

I hopped off him and stood beside him, waiting for the rest of the family to catch up.

I watched as my father and family approached us, they smiled and shook Austin's hand.

"It's great to see you again mate, how are the lads and how was tour?"

He stiffened up and smiled.

"They're great, I was so starstruck when I was told that I could join them for their tour. The lads are great, they're on a break now, which is why I was able to join youse today."

 Dad nodded and sighed.

"Well then, why don't we go inside and have lunch?"

Everyone agreed and made their way inside the cafeteria.

We waited at the podium as it said

Please wait to be seated.

I held onto Austin's hand, whilst he rubbed circles on my hand with his thumb. I calmed down a bit and looked around.

Their were vintage bar stools at the front of the counter and a nice wooden table top, the booths had a nice brown furnished table with a dark maroon leather chairs surrounding it.

It was beautiful.

I sighed and noticed that Austin was staring at the waitress making her way over to us, I felt a struck of hurt going through my body as I watched his eyes scan all over her body. I let go of Austin's hand and walked over to mum and stood next to her, she glanced down at me with confusion.

"Why aren't you standing next to Austin hun?"

I ignored mums question and waited for us to be seated.

I looked over at Austin and noticed that he still didn't realise that I wasn't next to him anymore, he was still gawking at the waitress. I watched as the waitress was sending him flirty looks back to him. I was starting to get pissed off. Like come on, who wouldn't?

"Hi all I'm Melissa and I will be your waiter this afternoon, how many seats would you like?"

I huffed then spoke up

"Isn't it obvious? We want 9 seats"

Melissa looked at me with a smirk.

"Okay, there is a booth over here, if you could follow me, I'll lead you to your table."

We followed the waitress when I was pulled to the side by Niall

"Bronty, what was that about? You know that was rude, its her job to ask those questions."

I shrugged my shoulders and walked over to the booth and sat next to Harry.

As I looked through the menu, I noticed that Harry was looking worried. I placed the menu down and looked at him.

"Harry, what's wrong?"

He glanced at me and whispered.

"I know what happened earlier with Austin and the Waitress, the thing is, when you watched them two flirting together you looked hurt, and I wanted to ask are you okay?"

I looked away from him and sighed.

"I don't know what your talking about."

He looked over at Austin which made me look up.

I could feel Harry tensing his fist.

I was confused.

He looked down at me and nodded.

"What did Austin do?"

He balled his fists up.

"He asked the waitress for her number and she said she will write it down and give it to him."

I was pissed off.

I looked to the left of me and saw Zayn and Liam sitting next to me.

I looked back over at Harry and held my face in my hands.

"Bronty are you okay?"

I shot up and glared at Austin then looked at Harry.

"Harry, can you please take me outside, I don't want to talk to that PLAYER over there."

I yelled and pointed at Austin.

"Babe! Why would you call me that for? I'm not a player."

I hit my fists on the table, which caused other people to stare.

"You so are Austin!!! Go fucking fuck that waitress, I don't want to see or be around you! Were done!"

I scrambled up from my spot and ran out the front door down the street till I came across a park. I ran in further and further when I came across a massive oak tree with massive leaves covering the branches from view. I looked around and climbed the tree and sat on the highest branch and cried my eyes out.

I stopped crying when I heard people yelling.

I tucked myself up closer to the tree, maybe I could hide away and die up here, I only have a year left to live.
