I went to Michael's house today for band practice. When I got there, that girl was there. What was her name again? I know she's Ash's sister but I don't actually remember her name. She was on her phone and only looked up to see who was walking in.
"Hey Luke." She mumbled and looked back down at whatever she was doing. I sat down next to her and she shut her phone off immediately.
"What were you doing on your phone?" I asked curiously.
"Oh nothing. I was just looking at old pictures." She wiped a tear away.
"Hey are you okay? Please don't cry, you're too pretty to cry"
Why'd he have to say that. That just reminds me of the first time we met.
I was at the park with my boyfriend of three years, Mark. Mark was the captain of the football (A/N I'm talking about soccer for the Americans like me) team. He told me he had to talk to me, so he sat me down on a bench. He sat down next to me and held both of my hands in his.
"Listen, Amy. I know we've been seeing each other for a long time now. I just I've loved you for the past three years. My parents decided to move to America. And I'm not sure if I can take a long distance relationship." I started sobbing, "I'm leaving tomorrow so I have to go home and pack. I can drop you home first." I nodded not wanting to actually walk home. We got in the car with tears streaming down my cheeks. Mark leaned in and kissed me for the last time. It lasted about 5 seconds, and then I pulled away not being able to take it anymore.
"I'm going to miss you so much. Goodbye Mark." I ran as fast as I could into the house and slammed the door behind me. I turned my back against the door to see my brother and three other boys. Two has blonde hair and one looked like he was Asian. One had bright blue eyes and a smile that could light up the world. The other one had a long fringe and was smiling like this was the only thing that made him happy. And by this I mean Fifa. Ashton turned to face me. I tried to cover up the fact that I had been crying. The other boys looked up as well. I tried to run upstairs but was stopped by an arm, the boy with the blonde hair and blue eyes. He pulled me into his arms and for some reason, I felt safe. I felt safe in the arms of a stranger. I cried into his chest. "Are you okay?" He asked me.
"Yeah I'm fine I just- my boyfriend just broke up with me" Ashton heard that and ran over to tackle me in a bear hug.
"Oh Ams I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
"No I'm not Ashton. He's moving to America tomorrow and didn't bother to tell me till today" I cried for what felt like forever.
"Please don't cry. You're too pretty to cry" the blonde boy with the pretty eyes said. "I'm Luke by the way"
Luke. Even his name was perfect. I mean I'd like to recover from my heartache but maybe he could fix it. He seems to be the only other guy interested in me.
I looked back at him, "I know you don't remember me or our past. I'd like to start over with you."
"Okay but can you tell me what our past was?"
"Doesn't matter now. what matters is the present."
"Okay then, Hi I'm Luke Hemmings" he put his hand out, and I took it.
"I'm Amy Irwin nice to meet you" we shook hands and then he spent the rest of the time getting to know me. It was my favorite memory with Luke, as much as I loved our time as a couple.
