"Hey Luke!! Since you were late to the meeting with the director of the ballet you get to go set up the banding equipment while we go get us all food.", said Aston
"Come on guys that's not fair!!", I whined.
"Yes it is!", said Calum
"Yeah and none of us want to get there early and do it ourselves!", said Michael.
"You better get goin' it will take you 15 minutes to get there and 45 miners to set up it practice starts at 5:00pm sharp and it's already 4:00!", said Ashton.
"Ok, ok I'm going, I'm going", I said.
The truck with all our banding equipment was ready to go so I got in and drove to the Sydney opera house. To my surprise there where men ready to help me carry all the amplifiers and guitars and drums in. They were going in through doors that lead right to the little stage on the floor set up for us next to the main stage were the dancers were. I thought that was a pretty cool idea instead of putting us in the orchestra pit. This way the audience can see us perform along with the dancers.
I decides to get a better look at the stage so I walked I the main doors while the men said that the stage crew would set up all our mics and instruments. Once I opened the main stage doors I heard someone call out, "Alice?".
"Nope, just Luke.", I said as I looked up to see the girl I ran into a week ago on the street.
"Oh sorry, I thought you were..."
I cut her off and said,"Hey your the mystery dancer I met on the street, what was your name?"
"My name is Liv. What are you doing here? I'd know if you where a dancer?", Liv asked.
"I'm not a dancer. However I am the music you are dancing to. Well, me, Ashton, Michael and Calum. We are 5 Seconds of Summer!" I said.
Then Liv said, "Shoot!!! I forgot to study who 5 seconds of summer are!! I mean not to be creeping but I like to know about what type of music I'm dancing to. I know you guys are rock punk and pop punk but I've only ever listen to music my parents approved of and those categories did not fit."
"Wait, so you never heard anything like Green Day or Blink-182!" I said shocked that this girls parents were so controlling!
"No I have. On a rare day off dancing I would sneak down to an old record and cd shop and listen to all the things my parents wouldn't let me listen to.", Liv said.
"Oh, so I have a rebel dancer on my hands!", I said as I walked closer to her to see the stage lights making what I assume is her natural red hair sparkle. I just noticed then how pretty she really was.
"I am not a rebel! I was just simply listening to good music.", Liv said as she sat down at the edge of the stage. I plopped down next her her and said,"so you have never heard our music?"
Sadly no, I bet you guys are as good as you are made up to be though!", she said with a cute little smile.
"I hope we live up to your standards! Haha!", I said with a little laugh. As Liv stood up and said,"I better continue to warm up. Nice to meet you formally and this time I didn't run you over!" she said as other dancers started coming in.
The memory made me laugh and I said, "I better make sure my guitars are tuned, nice to meet you too!"
I walked over and pretended to tune guitars. Instead I watched her warm up. Then she caught me staring and Liv smiled at me and waved which made me blush a little so I waved back. Then the boys got here and practice started and the ballet was looking and sounding awesome! The entire time we where practicing though I couldn't stop watching Liv even when she was dancing with another person. I couldn't take my eyes off of her!
