This is Connity for me, JustAsSaneAsLuna, making my first one in this story! Enjoy you amazing people!! XD
Trinity sat in the back of her grandfather's van. Emmy nudged up against her.
Why are you so sad, Fire-Kissed?
"I don't know...I guess I feel guilty leaving Conner and Caleb."
You told me you had to. You said it was the only way.
"I know what I said, Emmy. But, what if it wasn't? There could have been a way to make it work, but I ran. I ran like a baby instead of trying to figure out how to save all our lives. I bet the Draken already has them, and is somehow plotting how to use them as bait or something." Suddenly, a voice ripped through the air like a thrown knife.
"Trinity! Is that you?" Trinity recognized that voice. It was Connor. She rolled down the window.
"Connor..." she whispered, her heart shattering.
"Why did you leave us?" he yelled.
"I'm - I'm sorry, Connor. I had to. I couldn't afford the drama. I took Caleb's Nether gems and left."
"Why did you take it? You know how he is about those things."
"He had thirteen on Monday. Don't you understand what's happening, Connor? He had thirteen on Monday. Haven't you seen how depressed and broken he has been lately? Thirteen, just three days ago."
"Why do you keep saying he had thirteen? What's so important about that?"
"Connor...he only had one this morning."
"What? He - he - did you take the extra one he kept under his bed for emergencies?"
"Shoot. He had one under his bed?"
"You didn't take it? Trinity..." he trailed off. Suddenly, his eyes seemed brighter than they did mere seconds ago.
"What?" Trinity asked.
"No, really. Connor, what's up?"
"Have you ever wondered if this is actually worth it?"
"What do you mean..."
"Caleb. If he's just going to keep rotting his brains out, why should we try to help him?"
"Um, because he's my friend and your brother, maybe?"
"He's not going to change, Trinity!"
"On his own, no. But that's why we can't forget him! We have to help him stop going into the Nether!"
"Trinity! He's happier there! Happier than he is with you!"
"What makes you think that I'm happier with him there?" Suddenly, Connor moved so close to her, his nose was barely an inch away from Trinity's.
"This is why," he whispered, then softly, hesitantly, he pressed his lips to hers.
What do you guys think for my first one?
