Name Etymology - An Experiment in Haikus

Last Winter, I was at a complete loss for what to give my friends as Christmas gifts, and was also struggling to find writing inspiration. It is curious how often two problems can be solved using the same solution, which has resulted in a lovely little set of haiku's written with one special person in mind for each one, inspired by the etymology of their name and the attributes of their character. I do hope they can be enjoyed without the personal connotations, as I am rather fond of them. Feedback greatly appreciated, as ever. Sophie xoxo
