My glare stays on him as I move around the table and towards Lux in a haste. I hear the screech of a chair against tile, indicating that he’s taken a seat and I grab the little girl that I consider my daughter in my arms and quickly run to the bathroom with her.
I knock three times and wait for London to open the door. She takes a few moments, but as soon as the door is flung open, I move Lux into her arms and slam the door shut quickly before he could get a look at my girl. Taking a deep breath, I turn around and look at the man I had hoped to only see in three to four days. He’s smirking at me and I have to control myself not to run across the floor and lunge at the man.
“Styles.” He nods his head and I narrow my eyes immensely.
“Tomlinson,” I take a step closer and he raises an eyebrow “What do you want?” I ask and he clasps his hands together.
“I’m here to propose a deal.” His smirk widens.
“I already told you that I’m not getting Niall involved. He’ll spill to London and the last thing I need is her prying in our business. It’s dangerous and-“
“What where the fuck you’re going!” I hiss and pick my phone up from the ground, only to detect that the call was now ended. I sigh and look up to see who the idiot was that walked into me.
“Sorry man, I didn’t see you.” I glare at the blue eyed boy and take a breath to control my temper. I look up at give him a smile.
“No problem, Horan.” I pat his shoulder and try to move past him, but he catches my elbow and pulls me back, causing a growl to fall from my lips.
“What are you doing man?” He asks me and I’m taken aback at first, but raise an eyebrow and rip my arm from his grasp. He stares at me intently, waiting for an answer.
“What are you talking about?” I ask and he cocks his head to the side.
“You know exactly what,” He says, his teeth grit “I know all about what happened last summer, Harry.” He says. At first I’m caught off guard at how ballsy he’s acting, but the feeling quickly fades and I smirk at him.
“You pretty sure of yourself,” I state and move closer “but stay out of it. The shit I’m dealing with is worse than you’ll imagine.”
“What do you mean?” He asks and I roll my eyes and as I’m about to reply, I hear somebody shout my name. I whip around and my eyes widen when I see Perrie, London and Eleanor strolling over to Niall and me. I rub my temples and groan when the four girls approach us. As soon as London’s in front of me, I pull her into me and place a soft kiss on her cheek.
“Hi.” She smiles up at me and I nod my head in acknowledgement to the two other girls before me.
“What were you two up to?” London asked me.
“We were just talking about meeting up later, right Harry?” Niall interrupted. London turned to look at him and Harry sent a dark glare his way, knowing exactly what he was doing.
“Really? Harry?” London swiveled around to look at Harry confused and he ooked down at her. He had to stop himself from spitting out the words.
“Yes. Yes we were.” He said, the words almost hurting his throat at the thought of agreeing with Niall.
“That’s great! I mean, the fact that you two are hanging out.” London smiled at the two of them excitedly. I looked down at the ground, glaring at the concrete and picturing Niall’s face.
“So tell me, what exactly do you want from me?” I seethed. Niall had dragged me to an old diner not shortly after the bump in with London. He insisted that we go to some place he knew of, claiming It was just down the road.
“I want to know what the hell is going on.” Niall said and I shook my head, a dark chuckle escaping my lips. “Cut the bullshit, Harry. Tell me.” He had me slightly surprised by his tone of voice, daring me to tell him exactly what he wanted to know.
“Trust me mate, you wouldn’t understand.” I said shaking my head and picking up my glass of coke. I took a gulp of the soda, finishing off my drink and placing the empty glass back on the wooden table.
“Oh really? Because I know a lot more than you might think.” He narrowed his eyes at me. I wouldn’t lie if I said that his words didn’t interest me, which is why my next move shocked both Niall and I.
“I’m here to propose a deal.” His smirk widens.
I look back at the bathroom door, my worries with my little sister and girl in the bathroom, probably scared out of their minds and trying to figure out just what the hell I going on.
“And what might that be?” I lean more towards him and he pats the chair next to him. I hesitate before I decide on taking a few steps toward the man I once knew. The man I once trusted with my life. The man who used to be my best friend.
“You must know about Stone?” He asks and I nod my head. “So you also know that he’s seeking revenge? You killed his brother Harry. He wants your head.” Louis states. I roll my eyes and indicate for him to go on. “Well it’s no secret that you’ve got no one in your life that you really care about. Well all except your sister right?” Wrong.
“Get on with it, Tomlinson.” I spit and he shakes his head, holding up a finger to silence me.
“Think about it Harry. Lux is what? Six? Seven?” He asks, I glare.
“Five.” I correct him.
“Right, well. He knows you’ll do just about anything for that little girl. What he also knows is that you have a some girl running around with you. What’s her name? Paris something?”
“Her name is London. What does she have to do with this?” I ask through grit teeth, my patience wearing thin. Louis rubs his hand over his face.
“It’s clear as daylight Harry. Stone’s after your girl.” He says, making me freeze up.
“So what does that mean? He’s going to kill London?” Niall asks after I tell him about what happened in my apartment last night.
“No, well at least he thinks he is.”
“I suggest we both work together to take Stone down for good.” Louis says after a short while and I nearly burst out laughing.
“You honestly think I trust you? You work with the fucking guy!” I laugh and he sighs in annoyance.
“That fucker took the love of my life away from me Harry. I lost Eleanor because of him, and just like he wants revenge on you. I want revenge on him.”
“That’s all I’m telling you.” I say. Niall nods his head in agreement.
“That seems fair. Only one problem?” He smirks.
“And what is that?” I ask, cocking my head to the side.
“I want in.”
