Chris' point of view
I go to Jonas with every question I have. If I can't decide what to have for dinner or if I can't do my homework or if my professors at college are bugging me, I'll always go to Jonas for advice. But today is the day I have found the one question that I can't ask him.
Is it weird that I have a thing for your little sister?
It feels weird and wrong and creepy. Ruby's eighteen, only two years younger than us, but the fact that' she's his little sister and the fact that she's so quiet and shy makes her seem so young. It's not even really a crush, it's just a thing. I don't know what it is. I just remember exactly how she looked last night at the party. She wore this floaty, white dress that flowed down to just above her knees. The sleeves started at the top of her arms, leaving her shoulders bare with just a few little curls of her hair brushing on top of them. She was so slim and delicate and her eyes were big and green with a thick line of black on top of them. She was just so so pretty. I can't say she looked the same in those Hannah Montana pyjamas of hers, I'm not going to lie. She was still very cute though.
Ruby's in the back of my mind for the next hour as I play video games with Jonas and then she comes into the living room. She looks fresh now compared to earlier, her blonde hair swept up on top of her head. Like that, you can see darker roots but I don't even care that she dies her hair. In fact, the roots look pretty cute on her. She's wearing some yellow shorts and a baggy jumper that hangs off her shoulders. I can see two straps on each shoulder, two purple and two white. There's something so wonderfully endearing about seeing those two straps on a girl. I don't know what it is
She slips her laptop out from under the couch, knocking Jonas' feet out of the way and sitting down, putting her earphones in. She looks up and me and smiles a little bit before looking back at the screen. I then realise that I've been watching her for this entire time and suddenly feel really weird.
Her eyes look even bigger today and just as green.
