Chris' point of view
I'm sleeping at Jonas' tonight. I'm so glad to have him back here, I missed him while he was gone. We just have such an easy friendship. However, the novelty of him being back has worn off a little bit and I'm still very happy that he's here, but the excitement element goes more the thought of Ruby being sat there on the couch.
I've been coming here most days, whether it's to stop for the night or with the other guys or by myself, and I've always put that little bit more effort into getting ready than I used to. Just taking an extra moment doubting whether my hair actually looks good, using the more expensive aftershave that I save for special occasions, maybe using a little too much of that aftershave, that sort of thing.
When I get there, she's sat cross legged on the floor, surrounded by paper and books when Jonas lets me in. I smile to myself a little bit. I always worry that she won't be there when I get there but she always is.
"Move!" Jonas shouts, turning the Xbox on.
She sighs heavily and looks up at him. "I'm studying, can't you go and play in your room?"
"I haven't got an Xbox in my room." he flicks her forehead. "Go study somewhere else."
"I just got everything organised!" she complains.
"I don't care, go and organise it in your room." he snaps.
"Come on dude, don't be harsh." I laugh a little. "She's fine there isn't she? She's not doing any harm."
He raises an eyebrow at me. "Fine. Okay what shall we play?"
As he's rooting through all the games and shouting them out to me, Ruby smiles gratefully at me and I wink a friendly wink to tell her she's welcome. She turns back to her studying pretty fast but I'm almost sure I saw her blushing.
