3. The Police Station
When the police came and picked me up from the neighbours house I got so excited to see my family again. My brother, even though I was 6 and he was 10 we were like each other's halves - we wouldn't go anywhere without each other. The closer we go to the police department the more excited I got. When we got to the police department reporters where everywhere trying to get a look at the girl that had disappeared 10 years ago.
After the interrogation about my kidnapper the police officer ask me "Where are your parents?"
"I'm not sure last I remember I was in the park with my brother, Ashton Irwin." I said.
"Okay, well we'll find your family's phone number and call them. For now though, your going to have to wait until we can reach them. One last question do you know where you are?" The police officer said.
"I'm in Sydney right?" I asked.
"Yes, you are. Now I'm going to call your parents, I'll be back in probably 5 minutes." She replied.
~ 5 minutes later ~
The police officer entered the room again and said "So I got in touch with your mother and she will be picking you up tomorrow. Your father will not for reasons that she will explain. Now we'll take care of you tonight until your mother picks you up."
The police officer, whose name I learned was Sharon leads me to a cell. I guess this is what they mean by "taking care" of me.
Officer Sharon before she left said "We will be waking you up when your mother arrives and have a good night."
"Okay" I say.
As soon as I lie down on the bed I fall straight asleep.
Okay this is my first time doing a authors note and I'd like to thank everyone who has read this book so thank you :). I'm not sure when I'll be updating because school is starting and I don't have a schedule.
