"Connor! Come here you goof!" I playfully yell at my three year old son. Light footsteps patter into the kitchen as I finish placing the last of the mashed potatoes in the blue bowl.
"Yes mommy!" He stuttered.
"Go get daddy and your uncles, dinner is ready." I whisper as I push my son out of the back door and towards the patio. I watch him carefully as he bolts over to his father and uncles. Connor tugs at his fathers legs until he looks down him. As soon as Connor was done whispering into his father's ear, he stayed behind as his father jogged towards me.
"What's up Ry?" The brown haired boy soothed as he embraced me in a hug, kissing the top of my forehead lightly.
"Dinner is ready, didn't Connor tell you that?" I explained.
"Nope." He chirped. I sighed, seeing what Connor was trying to do. Shouts were soon heard from the place where Connor sat with his uncles. As Liam and I looked towards the commotion, Connor, Niall, and Louis were engulfed in a gigantic tickle fight. Connor's giggles rang throughout the backyard as he begged his uncles to stop torturing him.
"I'll help you set up the table, c'mon Rylie." Liam exclaims as we speed-walked towards the house. We both carried the bowls, plates, and silverware out towards the dinning table set outside, Liam pecking my cheek every time we passed each other. Zayn and Harry came to help as soon as they saw that the tickle fight between Connor, Niall, and Louis wasn't going to end. I mouthed a 'thank you' to Zayn when he went to break up the tickle fight between the three boys, giving Connor a gigantic hug when he came to claim his spot next to me at the dinning table.
After we all finished our big 'family dinner' we all sat at the table, anxiously waiting for the delicious desert that I made from scratch.
"C'mon mom! Bring out the cake!" Connor whined as he tugged at me arm. I gave him 'the look' as I got up and left for the kitchen.
"Where did everyone go?" I questioned to no one as I sauntered back outside to where the dinning table was. I set the cake down as I heard giggles from under the table. Lifting the sheet up, I gave the boys a look when my eyes settled on their grinning faces. I was about to question them about where Liam was, but Harry just grinned and pointed behind me. I turned around to see a handsomely dressed Liam, down on one knee. He grasped a black velvet box in his hands while he looked into my brown/green eyes.
"Rylie, we have been together for 7 years, have a child together, and have another one on the way. I know I'm a little late with this, and I should have done it a long, long time ago, but Rylie, will you do me the honors of becoming the most beautiful bride to the most loving man in the world?" Liam announced as tears began to brim the corners of my eyes. The boys and Connor were wide- eyed from the fact that we didn't tell them about the second baby, but they seemed happy.
"Yes!" I exclaimed in happiness. Liam ran over and spun me in a hug, slipping the diamond ring onto my finger in delight. The boys cheered in excitement as Connor and the rest of the boys engulfed Liam and I into a heart warming hug.
"I love you, Rylie." Liam soothed as he kissed my forehead.
"I love you too."
