Chapter 1. A promise is a promise.
Draco had returned home from another working day at a muggle hospital, he sighed a bit, as he unlocked the door to his flat. He got inside, locked the door again and got his jacket off his shoulders where he hanged it up.
He ran a hand through his blonde hair, while he walked into the kitchen. He had a headache, it had been quite some time at the work. A lot of people had needed help today, Draco where one of the best, so people request for him all the time.
“You back early.” A voice spoke from the kitchen doorway, Draco had turned as he had been reaching after a bottle of water in the fridge.
“I took early off, I thought I should be home and help you a bit more, Harry.” Draco said, as he smiled a bit toward the raven haired male.
“Spoken with Padfoot or Moony?” Harry asked, he had taken a seat on a chair at the kitchen table, his hand were in a small ticks mode.
Draco grabbed another bottle, he got over to Harry and sat it in front at him. He pushed the water bottle toward Harry, he smiled softly at him as Harry had taken the bottle.
“I spoke with them this morning, your godparents had adopted a child from an orphanage. A magical one, they adopted a blue haired little boy. They got him to me because they wanted to have him checked by the best, they named him Teddy B. Lupin.” Draco explained, he had seeing Harry’s eyes light up a bit by the news.
“Teddy, which is a name of my first Teddy bear. Mr. Teddy.” Harry said, he could start to remember his childhood again, only because of Draco.
“He explained that to me as well, Harry.” Draco said, as he held his hand across the table. Harry had taken Draco’s hand too, he was used to the touch by now and he liked it as well.
Draco slowly stood, he walked sideway and got a seat beside Harry. Their hands still connected in a soft gently hold, Harry had then rested his head against Draco’s shoulder. His eyes softly closed, as he enjoyed this.
Draco rested his head against Harry’s, his thumb stroked Harry’s hand back softly.
At some point, he hated to keep this secret between him and Harry. That he were truly alive instead of dead, it wasn’t fair for his godparents to be honest. They had already thought Harry had died two times, the last time were the one there almost broke them.
“How are your mind at, Harry?” Draco asked him, his hand slowly caressed Harry’s cheek.
“The memories are getting stronger, only thanks to you. I couldn’t be happier, I thought you hated me, to be all honest with you.” Harry mumbled, as he looked a bit up at Draco.
“Stop that talking, Harry. We have been through this before, the last thing we need is to make your ticks away. Then you should be alright again, almost as new.” Draco said, as he smiled a bit.
“You still haven’t answered my question though, do you want to return again to your godparents?” Draco asked him, his eyes looking into Harry’s as they sat silence.
Draco could see that Harry were in his mind again, thinking, remembering back
Harry woke up and were into a dark room, he had blinked a bit and sat up from his bed. He looked around him, seeing Draco sat on a chair beside the bed.
“Did it work?” Was the first thing he asked Draco, as he ran his hand through his hair, he could only just remember Sirius hold him in his arms.
“I will help you Harry, but this needs to be a deal between us. I don’t want you to end sad, I don’t want you to lose anything. Promise me one day, that you will return and explain them why you did it.” Draco said, his stormy grey eyes connected to the emerald eyes.
“I promise, I want my mind to be proper, I want the memories of my true life to be in order. Not his memory block, that’s all im asking for.” Harry said, as he whined a bit, his hand clung to his head again before he sat silent. Everything became dark, he know what it meant.
End of memory one.
“A promise, is a promise.” Harry whispered, he closed his eyes again. Feeling Draco’s arms got around him, comforting him as always.
