friends with Marci
Best friends are Marx and Stiver
has a small dog snowball
I honk my horn and wait for Marci to run out and jump in. A couple minutes later she is rushing to my car.
"Hey Ashlyn sorry I took so long my brother forgot to wake me when he left this morning" Marci says placing her bag on my backseat before settling in the passenger seat and buckling her seat belt.
"It's okay we'll still have a few minutes until class starts" I say driving toward school.
It's quiet for a few minutes before Marci speaks.
"So did you finish the assignment for literature"
"I haven't gotten to it. I should be finished by tomorrow. It's not due till Friday so I still have a few days to finish it" I say pulling into the school parking lot.
"I haven't even started yet so your better than me" Marci says with a shrug of her shoulders but I could tell she was nervous about it.
"I'll help you with it if you want" I say trying to ease her nerves.
She gives me a grateful smile which I return. I climb out of the car grabbing my bag from the back seat and handing Marci hers. We hurry toward school to see Marx and Stiver my two best friends.
We found them by Stivers locker. Marx was holding Stivers his arms wrapped around his waist while Stiver looked like he was still half asleep.
"Hey love birds" I call out to them causing them both to turn to me and smile. Stiver looking more awake at the sight of me and Marci.
I laugh as Stiver runs to me picking me up and spinning me around. He places me down after a few moments and I place a kiss to his cheek. I roll my eyes as Marx starts to pout and I place a kiss on his cheek too. He smiles happily following me to my locker.
"So did you get any sleep last night" Marx asks.
I sigh and shake my head. My parents were fighting all night so I barely slept an hour.
"I'm sorry" Marx says.
"It's okay don't worry about it. I'm fine" I say not wanting him to worry but I knew he would anyway.
"You know you could always stay at my house" he says placing his hand on my shoulder.
"I might just take you up on that" I say giving him a grateful smile.
We walk back over to Stivers locker where he and Marci are waiting for us. I walked with Marci behind Marx and Stiver toward class. We awed when they held hands. They are so cute together. They had gotten together a few months ago and I couldn't be happier for them.
As we walked down the hall I saw Micheal Clifford leaning against the lockers with his newest girlfriend. I roll my eyes in discust. He will never change.
