5. Letter from the cause
Emily slowly opened her eyes. One her side table laid a boutique of Tiger Lily's and a note. She raised her arm and grabbed the note. The note was written in green ink, squiggled words and a drawn heart on the bottom. Emily started to read.
I am sorry for your pain
Please never say my name in vain
Hope you get better, very soon
If you want to find me, look past the moon
Who would send that? Pain? What? Emily's head was spinning from all the pain killers she was on. She set the note down and grabbed the Tiger Lilly's. She pressed them to her nose. "Mhmmm." She giggled in delight. She set them back down and looked around the roomShe noticed they never turned her IV on. She grabbed the nurse button and slammed her thumb against it.
Six loud dings went off. A nurse in blue scrub. "What do you need?" Emily pointed to the IV. "Nobody turned it on."
The nurse nodded. She flipped the switch on. "It should be on, let me check the nurse who changed the IV fluid." She walked back out.Emily looked around the room, and stared the window, there was a glimmer in the glass. Emily threw the covers off and pushed herself off the bed, she grabbed the IV and held onto as she walked to the window. A piece of fabric was stuck in the glass. Emily put her hand on the glass and tried to dig into it but it was in-between the glass. It was black. Emily shrugged and walked back to her bed. All of a sudden she felt a flow of blood in her arm, she lifted her arm in front of her face to see a green liquid run through her veins. "What the?" the green liquid went from her hand and through her whole body. "Nurse!!" She yelled.
"NURSE!!" she screamed louder.
The IV liquid started to bubble.
