I rolled my eyes at Michael. He was being so childish and this was getting out of hand. I mean, I could only handle some sort of childish behaviour, but after a while it simply got annoying. I grabbed my notebook and got up from the couch and walked into my bunk. I was trying to come up with a new song and with Michael constant weird ass joke, it was impossible to do something. I opened my book once again and I stared at it. The words were simply words, because I couldn't find the perfect melody or rythm for them.
"Andreu?" Luke shouted from somewhere in the bus. "Andreu? You are needed here!"
I rolled my eyes and climbed down my bunk. "Who needs me?" I questioned as I walked towards the couch. "Who is going to need me? We are not even at the stadium."
"I need you!" Calum smiled and I rolled my eyes.
"What?" I crossed my arms.
"Wanna be my partner?" Calum asked with puppy eyes.
"In what?" I questioned as I sat on the couch next to Luke.
"We are going to do a water gun fight." Calum explained. "And we need pairs, so I want you to be mine."
"Sure." I shrugged. "When we get to the stadium right?"
"Yep." Luke replied and I nodded standing up. "Where are you going?"
"I need to finish a song." I replied. "Call me when we get to the stadium."
Calum nodded and I walked back to my bunk to work on my new song. Have you ever felt that when you want to express your feelings the best way is by writing down what you are feeling, and even though they don't make sense, you always find a way for them to make the perfect sense.
Do you understand me? That is exactly how I am feeling right now. I have some sort of mixed feelings, but I don't even know why. I only know that I need to write out my emotions if not I'm going to have some sort of breakdown.
"Andreu?" Luke's voice floated. I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed my face. I had fallen asleep. I grunted. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I sighed and threw my head back, hitting on the pillow. "Are we there yet?"
"Yeah." Luke replied. "How's your song going?" He asked siting down on my bunk.
"I barely have the words Luke." I whined. "I don't really know if it is going to work." I closed the notebook.
"Let me hear what you have." Luke gave me back my notebook. "Do you need a guitar?" I nodded. "Wait here." He smiled and left.
I opened the notebook to the page where I was writing my new song. I knew that it wasn't good, but if Luke wanted to hear my failure, I better show him so that he can help me out. Luke came back with a guitar. I took it in my hands and started strumming.
"It's not done yet." I spoke. "So if it sucks please tell me."
"Just sing Andreu." Luke smiled at me.
I took in a deep breath. Here was all or nothing.
"I can't help
But fall in love
With the way you make my chest hurt
And addiction to the pain that never ends
(Not that I want our love to end)
Because I know how much you care
And you know how much I want you here
The sadness is enough to kill
But your eyes bring me back to life.
I wait to wake up from this dream
Because in reality
Nobody amazing like you
Could love somebody like
Plain old me..."
"Wow." Luke breathed. "You wrote that?"
"Uh yeah?" I replied. "Why?"
"Because it is amazing Andreu." Luke smiled and took my hand. "Keep up with the work." He kissed my hand and climbed off my bunk. "And for the record, whoever gets to fall in love with you is super lucky."
