I managed to get about an hour of sleep done before mum shook me to wake me up. I rubbed my eyes and saw we were parked at Premier Inn. I grabbed my bag and climbed out of the car, taking my suitcase from the boot. I was glad to stretch my legs after the long car drive, but as I walked slowly over to the entry doors, Niall's face flashed through my mind. I turned to look at my mum who was on the phone and struggling to drag her suitcase. I would help her, it's just... well, I didn't want to.
"Soph! Just go on in, I'll be there in a sec." She shouted over.
I sighed deeply and pushed my way round the revolving doors. I don't know why but I ways find it takes at least five times of spinning before you actually walk inside. I dragged my suitcase over to the waiting area and took a seat. Mum seemed to be taking ages outside and the security guard kept on giving me weird glares. I took my phone out of my pocket and scrolled through Twitter. Oh, I see Ashton had a follow spree one hour ago! I always miss these things.
Finally she walked in, dragging her suitcase behind her. She brought it over and left it beside me while she went to talk to the reception lady. My eyes moved back down to my phone and I heard a cough in front of me. I looked up and the security guard was leaning over me, giving me a stern look.
"Are these yours?" He asked, holding out his hand and showing me a pair of earphones.
"Oh yeah, thanks. I must have dropped them." I replied, taking them from him.
My mum walked back over and grabbed her suitcase.
"Right come on. We're in room 24." She told me.
"Yay." I groaned and followed her to the elevator which took us to our floor.
We walked to the room and when got inside, it looked quite cosy. There were two double beds next to each other with huge white duvets. As always, there were chocolate mints on each pillow. There was a huge window which overlooked a huge part of Mullingar. The bathroom consisted of a small shower, a sink with a small, square mirror above it and a closet full of towels and a spare pillow. I chose the bed nearest the window because I get really hot at night and I like the breeze.
"Right. Unpack your things, I'm gonna book an early wake up call." Mum told me.
I'm a morning person so I wasn't too fussed. As long as it wasn't like 4:30am. Don't be stupid Sophia, it won't be that early. I pulled all my clothes out of my suitcase and, for some strange reason, I decided to throw them into a huge pile on my bed and fold them again. Don't ask. I organised them neatly into the drawers and saved the wardrobe space for my mum. I placed my kindle and phone on top of my bedside cabinet and piled some books next to them. I placed my toothbrush in the pot in the bathroom and organised the body lotions and body washes on the rack in the shower.
I went back into the room and laid on the bed. I switched the TV on and selected the MTV channel. 5 Seconds of Summer came on and I didn't hesitate to jump up and dance. I think maybe the people downstairs hate me already... but come on, it's 5SOS. I heard a loud knock on the door and I turned the music down before answering it. It was my mum?
"Why did you knock?" I asked her laughing.
"I didn't realise you had to take the key to get back in haha." she replied.
She turned the music up and I gave her a confused look.
"What? I like this song." she laughed and disappeared into the bathroom.
"What time are we leaving?" I shouted through the door.
"4pm. Maura's having a little get together and she invited us."
"Oh. Great." I groaned again.
