"I bet you couldn't get a number," Calum dared. We were talking about his new friend Alli, which he said he was planning to ask her out.
"Fine!" I said as I got up from the couch and grabbed my shoes.
"Where are you going?" Calum asked as he walked over to me.
"To the park. All the cute girls go to the park," I replied. Cal got his shoes on to and we left. As we pulled up I saw the perfect girl to get a number from. She was beautiful! I hopped out and walked up to her. She was with a friend but I got a girl's number when she had a boyfriend so I think I can handle this. As I walked up her friend gave me a weird look but I ignored her."Hey!" I said. She gave a small smile.
"Hey! Or is it hi?(A/N if you know about this then I will give you a cookie)" I laughed.
"I think it's hey," she laughed with me.
"You guys are weird," her friend said as she walked away from us.
"Don't mind her. I'm Kate by the way," Kate said as she held out a hand for me to shake. I shook it.
"I'm Michael," I said. "Hey! You think you could ask the person I know to give me her number?" I asked.
"All right, well, keep quite, because she's standing next to me," I said and she burst out laughing.(A/N sorry if it's bad but it's the best I could do!).
"That was horrible!" She said between laughs. After a while, she gave me her number. I proudly walked up to Calum waving the paper in the air.
"You did it, Clifford," Calum looked surprised. "Are you going to call her?" he asked.
"Of course! She's amazing," I said looking back at her.
"Are you going to tell her that you got her number because of a dare?"
"I don't know. Maybe not,' I said as we got into the car.
