23. ~Chapter 23~
~Still Nataly's P.O.V~
"Are you ready to go?" Auntie A asked as I walked down the stairs with my suitcases. Today was the day I live and go to America. My parents were already waiting for me. My dad took my suitcases while I hugged my mom goodbye. After my mum, I hugged my dad.
"Call us every day! And don't do anything bad while you are there!" my mom shouted as I got into the cab my aunt got us. I nodded and waved goodbye.
"Wait!" I heard before I closed the door. The cab driver sighed in frustration as I got out to see what is the matter. Calum and Michael ran over to me. "We wanted to say our last goodbye," Michael confessed as a tear ran down his face. I wiped it away as I hugged him then Calum.
"I love you guys. Tell Luke I will always love him." I made them promise to tell him. I got in the car and shut the door for the last time.
"I hope you like your room. It's not much but it will have to do for now," my aunt said as she opened up a door to my new room. I looked around. It was a little smaller than my other one but it was still cozy. It had a small bed with a night stand and a lamp on top. It didn't have closest but a wardrobe and a small dresser with a little mirror on top. I laid my suitcases down on the bed so I can unpack. My aunt walked away to let me do what I needed to get comfortable. I took a deep breathe as I looked around again. This is my life. I need to get use to this. Who knows how long I will stay here.
"Here is the school. The office should be at the front towards the right," Auntie A instructed me as I was about to get out of the car. I nodded my head has I got out and walked up the stairs to Yale and walked in. There was students everywhere! I turned to my right because that is where my aunt said to go, and found the office. I walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome from the lady behind the counter in front of me.
"Uh... Nataly Matthews?" I said more of a question than a statement. She looked down here list.
"Yes! Of course! Miss Matthews, here's your classes and Claire over here will give you a tour around," she instructed. I nodded as a girl with blonde hair with light pink highlights walked over and smiled. I smiled back We walked out.
"Are you from Australia?" she asked. Probably because of my accent.
"Yes! I moved here to live with my aunt," I answered. And that is when I realized I was going to like being here.
