We drove for quite awhile and then we pulled into a parking space in front of a big building. I looked at Luke with confusion. He smiled and got out. He took my hand again and we walked in. I was scared. I need to tell him that I am thinking about leaving to go live with my Aunt for a couple of years in America. But how! As we stepped in the aroma of food filled the air. We were at one of my favorite places ever!
"Luke I-" I was about to say before Luke cut me off.
"You don't have to say anything. I feel really bad for what I did," he confessed. He leads me to a table and pulled out my chair. "I was hoping to start over," he continued when he sat down.
"Luke, I really have-" I was about to say again but was interrupted by the waiter.
"Can I start you guys off with some drinks?" he asked as he got out his pad of paper and a pen.
"Two glasses of water?" Luke asked as he looked at me and I just nodded. The waiter nodded and left. "So what did you have to tell me?" he asked. I can't tell him now. It'll make him sad all night. But I better tell him soon...
"Nothing," I replied. We ordered shortly after.
"Nataly, I really want to forget what happened and makeup," Luke spoke up. We are now walking in the park and It's making me uncomfortable.
"We can't," I replied as I kept my eyes on the ground.
"Why? I said I-" he was about to say but I interrupted him.
"Luke, I'm moving!" I shouted looking up to face him. His face changed from questioning to sadness.
"What? Where are you going?" he asked. Tears were building up in my eyes.
"To America. My Aunt told me that one of the biggest schools there and I can't pass it up. I'm so sorry!" I said as I pulled out my phone. I guess I'm not going home with Luke. I called Michael and he said he will be on his way. I turned to see Luke on a bench. His head was in his hands and I can hear faint sobs. I sat next to him. "I'm so sorry to tell you this," I repeated. He left his head up. Tears were running down his cheeks like rain on a window.
"Will you ever come back?" he asked. I looked away.
"I don't know..." I answered then I saw Michael's car and I got up. "Bye Luke," I waved at him and ran. When I got in I started to cry. I told Michael everything. When I got home I called Calum so he would know what is happening.
