My Heart Goes On || a.i. fanfic
I had my first kiss today... With Ashton. It was weird! Boys have cooties!!! I wanted my first kiss to be in the rain! It's not fair, just like life."
I read my sixteen year-old self in my old diary. I manage a little giggle and look over at Ashton. "Remember our first kiss?" I ask him, laughing loudly. He giggles, "Yeah, you were so angry." I roll my eyes and stick my tongue out at my best friend.
"We should go do something," I groan in a flat voice. "Hmm. We could build blanket fortresses since it's cloudy!" Ashton exclaims, getting up and running to get pillows and blankets. I giggle and get up. "You're too cute." I state, instantly feeling my cheeks warm up to red. "Erm.. I.." I try to think of a lie, but nothing comes to my mind.
"Haha! You just said I was cute!" He shouts playfully, tripping over the blanket that he was dragging. I laugh loudly, but cough to try and cover it up. He scowls at me and hides under the blankets. I snort and fall to the floor with laughter. "You're the one being cute," Ashton mumbles. The air catches in my throat and I struggle to breathe correctly.
You see, I've had a crush on Ashton since... third grade. Honestly, I don't know what was happening to me at the moment. My heart was going freaking crazy and beating really hard. My mind was fogged up with his words. My lungs were stopped by him. Maybe this is a side effect of crushing. Who knows?
"Oohh! You like me," Ashton laughs, making my cheeks flush a darker red than before, which was technically impossible... For me. You see, I'm not a little giddy, blushy, smiley type of girl. I am different and about as radiant as the sun.
"Well, maybe crush I on have you?" I ask, my mind not making sense. I let out a huff, while he sits over on his blankets, laughing his ass off. "Hell it with," I mumble, cursing my mind. Why couldn't I talk!? Ugh, I blame the inner lover-thingy inside me.
I decided to sit on Ashton's bed, since he thinks I couldn't make a fortress. I shrug and let out a sigh. "Ash, why am I your friend?" I ask. "Well, you see, we're friends because our parents know each other, but! We both are ridiculous, funny, and, well, sexy," He says, striking a 'sexy' pose. Okay, maybe the pose was really sexy, and he was flexing, and his dimples were showing, and- Okay, I'm just gonna like, not even go into detail.
"WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO GODDAMN SEXY!" I scream at him. He looks at me with wide eyes and gives me a smirk, "God liked me, so he put sexiness into me." I snort, "That sounded wrong, if ya know what I mean."
"Jordyn Abbot. If you don't stop thinking like that, imma tickle you!" He says in a cute gangster voice. I smile, making my eyes squinty. "Why did God have to make your smile so fuckin' adorable?" Ashton winks. I give him a weird smile and walk over to his drum sticks. "NO! DON'T TOUCH THOSE!" He shouts. I smirk and reach out to a newer pair.
I hold one in each hand and well, start beating on stuff. I start making this really cool beat up and start singing quietly.
"He looks so perfect standing there, with his huge dimples, and curly hair," I sing, looking at Ash. He snorts and sticks out a pinky, "Theoretically, it should be 'She looks so perfect standing there, in my American Apparel underwear." I laugh and kiss him on the cheek.
