30. It wasn't your fault

Joy kisses Loki on the lips, startling  him at the door and his grip on the umbrella loosens. The hot steaming kiss is broken by no other than Joy.A light hearted feeling travels up from the heart spreading all over Loki. This feeling was something he hadn’t encountered for a very long time, not since Meredith Quill.

Loki’s lips feel warm from the sudden steamy kiss.

“That was .  .  .” Loki began to say. He could still feel the warmth on his lips. “Amazing.”

Joy steps back with a smile.

“Perfect.” Joy said, patting on Loki’s chest. Her eyebrows had tilted downwards. “Don’t blame yourself, Loki.” Loki seems to have some form of a confused look in his eyes. “I am fine." Joy is lying to Loki; to his face. "It really wasn’t your fault Mr  Odd returned."

Another lie from Joy, again.

"Mr Odd is David." Joy added.

The name Mr Odd stood out to Loki.

“Stop lying to me, Joy.” Loki said, in a tone that showed his hate to be confused.

Joy lightly pats on Loki's  shoulder.

“I am not a mortal.” Joy said. “I am…well…" She looks down to her right and then back up to Loki very so kindly. It was the kindness he hadn't seen from an average Midgardian in centuries. "I didn’t know about it until after I met you." She takes her hand off his shoulder. "I was a Demigod. My dad is Fandral, and my mother was a mortal; Georgie Joanna.”

The word ‘was’ seemed big beside the word ‘Demigod’.

“Was a Demigod?” Loki asks, still holding the umbrella; apparently. “What do you mean by 'was a demigod'?”

Joy makes one of her best fake smiles that seemed as though she tried to make it not seem so hurtful. She then intentionally leans in and whispers into Loki’s ear. “I’m dying.”  Joy then pulls herself away from a surprised Loki then she grips on the handle to the door leading into the  warm cozy house.  “Time to wake up, pretty boy.”

Loki wakes up in the chair in the hospital room. Loki slides up the chair. Then he feels stinging pain in his head.First Loki saw Thor and Laufey sharing a conversation. Words stood out clear to Loki that Thor was lying, and, taking over the plan for his own benefit. An image of Thor standing above Odin's body at the bed turned dark because in the next frame he witnessed Thor kill Odin.

And then he witnessed Thor kill Laufey in the same room within this vision.

"Hey Loki."

Loki takes his hand off his head and looks up towards the man.

"You." Loki said. "You are a liar,David. Or should I call you Mr Odd?" He sneers at the mention of the name. "You on purpose missed a meeting years ago, and then, you pop up just this year when I have returned!" Loki gets up from the chair. "Joy told me. I know everything; except, why you're here."

"Simple." Mr Odd said. "Your brother." He looks towards the freezing woman. "Ah, Margret has gone too far."  Mr Odd makes a light tsk. "I should have never gone to her. We were not meant to go that far. That was all Thor's doing."

Loki grabs Mr Odd by the neck and presses him up by the ugly blue wall.

"Are you saying my brother never wanted  me to return?" Loki asks.  "Tell me before I take my gloves off and decide to freeze you!"

"He's afraid you'll use the frost giants to invade Asgard and over throw him." Mr Odd said, slowly thinking a counterplan to get out of Loki’s grasp. "And your lady friend is dying." Loki narrows his eyes at Mr Odd.  "Not because of what I did to her. But what she did for you." Mr Odd breaks the grasp that Loki had on him and sent him knocking against a chair. "You're a frost giant, Loki! Don't you know? You're the one Asgardian children fear at night!"

Loki gets up from the moved over chair.

"Sometimes Asgardians need monsters, not the likes of you!" Loki said. "I am afraid you're wrong.Ice cannot kill Demigods."

"I never said ice was killing her." Mr Odd reminds Loki.

Loki's  eyebrows hunched together.
