The Irresistible Jerk

Genesis was warned to stay away from Harry. She knew he was trouble but she knew there was a softer side to him, not just his bad boy reputation. He was dangerous, threatening, but he cared. Harry wasn't exactly the type she usually went for but he wouldn't stay away. She was his and there was no way of escaping. But he was just an irresistible jerk.

3. ✿ Chapter Two ✿

Genesis' P.O.V

I felt someone shaking my shoulder, interrupting my peaceful sleep. I groan and open my eyes. That boy from earlier stood there. (I still don't know his name) "Come on, the plane landed." He smiles at me. I nod and get my back before following him off the plane.

The walk to the Holmes Chapel airport was silent. Not an awkward silence, but a comfortable one. Soon the boy is attacked into a hug by an elder women who, -might I add- looks extremely similar to him. "Louis!" She says happily. I stand there awkwardly, unnoticed by the women. Or so I thought...

"And who's this? Got yourself a girlfriend, have you?" She smiles warmly at me.  I blush lightly and look towards the ground.

"As flattered as I am," Louis starts flipping his imaginary hair, earning a giggle to escape from my lips,"I already have a girlfriend named Eleanor. And mum, this is Genesis."

Her smile instantly drops, and I know that she hates me. Tears begin to pool her eyes, and she bear hugs me. "Gen-  Can I call you Gen?" She asks smiling once again. I nod and she continues. "Gen I can't believe you're here!"

I smile and hug her back. "I'm Johanna, your foster mum!"  I nod, and we pull away from the hug.

"Is something wrong, dear? You're awfully quiet."  She adds. I take the notebook and write down,

No, nothing's wrong, I'm just mute.

I show it to her, and she nods. "Well, thats fine! Come on, lets get going. I already decorated your room, is that okay?"

Yea, its your house. You decorate it how you want to.

A sigh escapes her lips and she looks up at me. (She's quite short) "Its our house. Our home. It may take some time getting used to this new environment,  but I hope you feel like a part of this family, because you are."

I nod, and we all exit the airport. We get into the car, and tension is thick in the air. I can't help but think it because of my presence. Actually, I know it is. I rest my head on the window, and look at the passing buildings and trees.

This was going to be a long night.
