I peer anxiously out the window as the familiar sights pass by. All week I've been nervously packing and repacking, thinking about seeing everyone again. Niall and I saw each other every other weekend during the year, but I haven't seen anyone else since last summer, and I can't wait. I fidget in my seat as my dad pulls into the parking lot. I say a quick goodbye to him, and grab my bags out of the car. My parents have been distant since Ansley went to jail a year ago, and today is no exception. I start to make my way toward my cabin, but I stop in my tracks when I hear someone shout my name. "Emma?" I shout, dropping my bags when I see her. "Oh my God, Ally!" she cries, running to me. She throws her arms around me, saying, "You're the last one here! Come on!" She picks up one of my bags and grabs my hand, tugging me toward the cabins. It's not far, and soon we're flinging open the door. "Ally!" everyone collectively says, and I smile. Everyone is here. Everyone but Zayn, I think bitterly, but I push the thought from my head when I see Niall. "Hey babe," he says, kissing me. "I missed you," I tell him. Even though I just saw him a week ago, I feel like it's been forever. "Ally, how are you?" Lacey asks, coming over. "I'm good, how are you?" I reply, hugging her. Aubree takes my hand and drags me further into the cabin. "I missed you!" she says. "I missed you too," I tell her, laughing when she dramatically wipes a fake tear from her cheek. "What's up Ally?" Kat says, giving me a quick hug. The friendship between Kat and I has grown stronger even though we've been apart. We texted all through the year, and we actually have quite a bit in common. I'm looking forward to being able to talk to her in person again. Liam, Harry, and Louis all give me hugs and I notice Liam stands with his arm around Lacey. I'm not surprised they're still together, they're perfect together. Niall kisses me on the cheek. "Another summer together," he whispers in my ear. I nod and smile at him. Our relationship has definitely had its ups and downs, but after last summer, I can't wait to just have time to hang out with him. "Group hug!" Aubree squeals, and a few seconds later we're all crammed together, laughing and smiling. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
