3. Back and Better Than Ever
"That's right, Ally," Cameron replies, glancing flirtatiously at Niall. "And I'm here to make your life a living hell. I'm back and better than ever." My heart pounds in my chest. Cameron has always bullied me, but a few years ago, she moved away. And now she's here. She winks at Niall and saunters away, swinging her hips. My stomach clenches. Cameron is super pretty. She has long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. What if Niall realizes that she's so much better than me? "Ally, who was that?" Niall asks, turning to me. I explain the whole story to him, hoping the whole time he won't talk to Cameron that much, if at all, this summer. She won't hesitate to take him from me, I know that for a fact. "It's okay," Niall tells me. "Just stay away from her. If she bothers you, let me know." I nod and we continue walking. "I'll see you tomorrow," he says when we reach my cabin. I stand on my tiptoes and kiss him. "See you tomorrow," I say, and go inside. Emma is already there, putting on pajamas. "Hey," she says. "Did you have fun?" I smile. "Yeah," I say. I decide not to tell her about Cameron...yet. Why is she here? I thought, I hoped, I would never see her again.
Cameron's P.O.V. (Flashback)
"So, you're saying you want me to kill your sister Ally?" I ask, confused. "Yeah," Ansley says, shrugging. "Shouldn't be too hard. While you're at it, you can kill her little boyfriend too." I can't believe what Ansley is telling me. "Why should I?" I ask her. "I can pay you," Ansley pleads. "Come on. Please?" I nervously glance over my shoulder. The prison guards are watching us closely. "How much?" I say. "Fifteen thousand," Ansley says, staring me in the eye. I sigh. "Why do you want me to kill her anyway?" Ansley sighs too. "She's the one who turned me into the police," she replies. "Okay," I say. "I'll do it." Ansley nods. "Good. You made the right choice."
