3 months later.
It felt like yesterday that his name got out from the goblet of fire, even all people started to hate him, special his friend Ron for not ‘telling him’ that he had put his name in the goblet. He haven’t, that’s the point of it all.
Harry had been walking outside in the cold weather, he had his hoodie on, his hand buried deep in his pockets while he crossed the roads with the snow on top at them.
His mind were back at that day, he remembered it all so clearly even though it’s been months ago.
~Start of Memory~
Harry had been in the trophy room with the other three champions who’s names had been out from the goblet too, he just stood a bit awkward away from them. He could soon hear a lot of shouting’s, yelling’s and upset voices from the stairs.
“You need to take him out Albus, he is not fitted for this tournament!” Sirius worried and angry voice was heard, as the headmaster along with the other schools adults came down too.
Harry stood a bit away, he could hear Padfoot was mad, maybe Moony were too? But he, he haven’t done anything wrong. He didn’t put his name in the goblet, he could just get out from it again, right?
“Harry!” Dumbledore said, as he had been over at Harry and grabbed him by his shoulder.
“Did you put your name in the goblet?!” It was a worried yet hard voice Dumbledore spoke in, he knew that Dumbledore demanded answers.
“No Sir, I didn’t put my name in the goblet.” Harry replied, his eyes looked over at Sirius and Remus. They looked concerned at him, Harry could see Sirius were the one who demanded him out of this.
“You are certain?” Dumbledore asked him, Harry had then just nodded as he said. “I’m certain Sir, I didn’t put my name in the goblet.” Harry repeated himself again.
“Albus, we need to get him out of this. Can’t you make a spell over the goblet?” Sirius asked, he had Remus hand on his shoulder which was a good thing since he looked like he was ready to rip someone’s throat out.
“The goblet have a bounding contract with the name it spits out, Harry is from this day, the fourth champion in the Tri-Wizard Tournament.” Albus said, as he looked back at the others. He slowly walked of, along with the two schools headmaster and headmistress.
Harry were left with Sirius and Remus, both of them had been over at Harry and hugged him close.
Harry could feel that Sirius were the one there was most worried for him, he could feel it in the hug and the way Sirius started to curse under his breath.
“I will be fine Padfoot, don’t worry.” Harry had said with a comforting voice, he tried to make his parents alright, trying to tell that he do feel fine.
It was the same time that he was told, Sirius and Remus should be judgments in the tournament. So Harry had pleading them, about not to set points higher up because he was their godson.
They had made a deal with that, on the good side Harry could always speak with them now. He would maybe even get home for Christmas with them, or maybe they make the Christmas here?
He would just need to wait….
~End of memory~
Harry were taken out from his thought, as he heard someone called at him. He looked at the blonde Slytherin Prince getting up beside him, he looked concerned just like Sirius and Remus had done.
Great, what more could go wrong? What If Draco do end their friendship? Or worse, he won’t even be around him at Christmas?
“Yes, Draco?” Harry asked, his hands kept being in his pockets.
“I just wanted to check on you, you have been off lately, even people starts to whisper things behind your back.” Draco said, he held his hand at Harry’s shoulder on a comforting way.
“You sure you are alright?” Draco asked again, as he looked up at the raven haired Gryffindor.
“I’m fine, it’s not like I’m use to that people whispers behind my back, now is it?” Harry said, as he managed a small smile at Draco.
“Remember first, second and third year? They only whispered behind my back there.” Harry explained, he made a movement to walk along, because he knew Draco would follow him.
They walked a bit in silence, none of them made a word to the other. Draco somehow didn’t know what he should say, only that he would be at Harry’s side if needed.
It was just until a black shaggy dog went up to Harry’s side that Draco let out shirking noise, where he then walked backward.
“What?” Harry asked, as he chuckled a bit while he knelt down to the black dog and nuzzled its fur.
“I-I’m not that good with dogs, always been scared for them since my dad’s dog bite my hand once.” Draco said, as he had taken cover behind a tree nearby.
“You don’t need to be afraid of him, Draco. This is Padfoot, you know my godfather Sirius.” Harry said with a smile, as he nuzzled Padfoot’s head a bit. He could see that Sirius enjoyed it a lot, since he almost lied down on the ground so he could get a belly rub.
“Is that….is that really him?” Draco asked, he were still unsure if he should get out from his hideout.
“It is, Sirius could you turn back to human?” Harry asked nicely, as he ran his hand over Padfoot’s head. The black shaggy dog only nodded, before it stood proper and transformed himself to Sirius again.
“Wow that was amazing.” Draco said with a voice in awe, as he slowly got out from behind the tree.
“It have its way to be an Animagus, Draco?” Sirius asked for the name, since he couldn’t quite remember.
“Malfoy’s kid, right?” Sirius asked, his arms wrapped around Harry’s shoulders from behind so he hold his godson close to him.
“Yes Sir, I am. However, I’m not like my father.” Draco told him, his eyes got a bit expressionless by the mention of his father.
“I know Draco, after what Harry had explained about your….special friendship. I won’t doubt that you are nothing alike your father, you look a bit alike him. But that would only be it.” Sirius said, as he looked down at Harry.
“Don’t walk away all alone, Harry. I don’t want you to be alone, special not after what’s going on around these times.” Sirius told him, he rested his chin on top at Harry’s head and hugged his godson close to him. He only felt that Harry leaned back against him, enjoying the moment with Sirius.
“I’m sorry, I just needed to think a bit.” Harry mumbled.
“I will just speak with you later, Harry. I think I also got some potion homework, see you.” Draco said, before he walked off with his hands in his pockets.
“It is really Malfoy’s son, the way he walks off at.” Sirius said with a chuckle, as he looked down at Harry and stroked his cheek softly.
“Why did you walk off on your own, Harry?” he asked him softly.
“As I said, I needed to think a bit. I got some thoughts that I needed to sort out, the nightmares had returned again Padfoot.” Harry whispered, his gaze went over toward the lake as he stood still in his godfathers arms.
Sirius sighed, he held Harry closer to him and hugged him tighter to his chest.
“The same dream?” Sirius asked him softly, his hand ran through Harry’s hair to comfort him. He felt that Harry shook his head against his chest, a deep sigh escaped Harry’s throat.
Harry had then slowly shooked his head, he pulled back from Sirius and looked up at him.
“It was different, but it doesn’t matter. I know I will have nightmares the rest of my life Sirius, you don’t need to try and make it down.” Harry said, before he smiled lightly up at Sirius.
“I will be fine, I promise you that.” He told him.
“You better keep that promise lad, because we won’t lose you to anything.” Sirius said, as he messed up Harry’s hair again as he then pulled Harry into his arms.
“How about we get in the kitchen for some hot chocolate? Maybe Moony should join too?” Sirius asked with a chuckle.
“You always like to give me small treats, don’t you?” Harry said, as he smiled a bit at Sirius before he nodded softly at him.
“I will always spoil my lad, in any way possible.” Sirius said with a chuckle, as he walked with his godson back again to the castle.
