Last lesson soon finished and the students were overjoyed. Well... all the younger students whom didn't have to watch a plastic doll scream for 504 hours. Castiel happily skipped into his dorm room to see Dean had moved slightly since he had last checked up on him.
Feeling bad for Dean, Castiel went to the bathroom, filled up a glass with some water and popped out two pain killers for Dean. He silently placed them on the bedside table and went to sit on his bed.
He watched Dean intently. He watched his stubbled face with care. His chest rise and fall with grace. His beautiful soft snores were like a melody to Castiel.
Castiel crushed on Dean like a nut cracker cracked nuts. He'd always felt something for Dean and this whole project made Castiel crush on him even more. Was this love? Was Castiel in love with the one and only Dean Winchester?
Castiel sighed into his hands and fell back onto his bed. Dean, popular and unpredictable. Castiel, average and boring. Castiel mesmerized Dean. He idolised him. If he could, Castiel would be Dean.
And so would many people. To Dean, Castiel was a small speck and not even a dent in his life and Castiel knew it.
"Ugh." Dean groaned. Castiel's ears perked up but he decided against speaking. "Son of a bitch." Dean rubbed his head and propped himself up with his right arm. He took one look at the glass and pills and took them. Castiel kept still.
Until the baby cried.
"Oh for goodness sakes." Dean groaned and that was when Castiel decided to move.
"Sorry." Castiel muttered and sat up to pick the baby.
"Hmm? Oh hey, Cas." Dean greeted him. Cas? Had Dean given him a nickname? Castiel's heart stopped beating for that small second.
"Shhh shh shh." He hushed and rocked the baby.
"What time is it?" Dean asked, stretching.
"About quater past four." Cas said while the doll finally shut up.
"Ugh dammit." Dean said rubbing his eyes. "Well that's a day wasted. Where's Dan?" Cas's heart raced as he thought back to the scene before with Mr Meyers comments on Dan.
"Um.. He's in his room I think." Cas said and put the baby back into the car seat.
"Meh. What did I miss today?" Dean asked, standing up in only his boxers. Cas blushed and had to rip his eyes away from Dean's body.
"Not much... just stuff. The teachers don't give a damn about us anymore." Cas shrugged.
"All right then. What's the point in even getting up if they don't care?" Dean changed into a top and jeans before fixing his hair and making himself look presentable.
"How much did you even drink last night?" Castiel asked, worried.
"Not enough if I can still remember the night." He replied simply and put on his shoes.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm hungry and I need coffee. I need pie and coffee." Dean walked towards the door but Castiel's voice stopped him.
"Can you at least take the doll? Josh is annoying me." Cas said and Dean sighed.
"Fine. Just because it's you." Dean said and took the car seat. What did he mean just because it's me? Cas thought.
"See you later, Dean." Cas says as Dean walks out. Finally. Peace.
John and Sherlock regrouped themselves after school. Sherlock gave Jane back to John without a second thought and kept his original doll, Elizabeth.
The two went to the common room which was hardly populated with people. Only River, Katniss and Peeta were there. Sherlock was helping John with some science work he didn't get.
"I don't get this Sherlock!" John exclaimed and threw his pencil down onto the text book.
"Well with that attitude you won't!" Sherlock yelled back, making River jump.
"Jesus Christ, Sherly!" River yelled at him.
"Oh be quiet, River. And stop calling me Sherly!" Sherlock replied.
And off started a yelling war.
"DO NOT TELL BE TO BE QUIET. I HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS YOU!" River yelled at him again.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Katniss screamed.
"SHERLOCK YOU ARE MEANT TO BE HELPING ME!" John.
"FOR GOD SAKES SHERLY I HATE YOU!" Katniss.
"KATNISS YOU SLAG!" Sherlock. "STOP YELLING AT ME."
"DON'T CALL KATNISS A SLAG!" Peeta yelled and stood up.
"CHRIST ALMIGHTY. SHUT THE HELL UP YOU WHORE." River blared at Sherlock.
"I CAME HERE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND I AM FEELING SO ATTACKED RIGHT NOW!" Sherlock howled.
A cough stopped the bickering students as they turned to face the deputy head, Mr Gollard. He's scarier than Mr Meyers. This man will eat you alive.
"I came to get a refreshing coffee and I find my students slagging each other off. Shouting. Bad language. Abuse. You know what this means." Mr Gollard said with a smirk while the students internally groaned. "School community service for the rest of the week. Litter picking. Toilet scrubbing. Cleaning white boards."
"But sir, I didn't do anything!" Katniss protested.
"Save it! I have heard it all before. Now, get back to your rooms, I don't want to see you lot until tomorrow. 4pm sharp at my office." Mr Gollard said and walked off.
"Fucking hate you." John snarled at them all.
"Sod off." River said and grabbed her books before leaving to go to her room. John and Sherlock also packed up and left the room, leaving Katniss and Peeta.
"That was nice..." Peeta trailed off.
"Hmm.. thanks for defending me." She smiled sweetly at him. Peeta's belly erupted with butterflies which he pushed back down.
"We should be going now." Peeta said small-ly.
"Yeah..." She said and they trotted off to their room with Humfrey in hand.
Amy sat silently on her bed watching Rory talk on the phone to his mum. She had her left hand on her belly protectivly. She'd been doing this a lot lately. Rory had noticed but he didn't question her. And her weird eating habits.
"Yes mum." Rory sighed. His mother could speak for England if she had the chance. "I love you too. Now I have to go... goodbye." He hung up thankfully.
"So..." Amy smiles at him. "Come here," she pats the space beside her on the bed. "I haven't had a hug from you in ages." Rory sits down next to her and wraps his arms around her protectively.
"I love you, Amy. You know that right?" Rory whispers into her shoulder.
"Yeah, I do." She replies.
"Good. Don't ever forget that." He pulls back from the hug and looks at her in the eyes. "On Friday, I want to take you out somewhere."
"Oh um..." Amy ponders. Friday. She's going to tell him on Friday that she's pregnant. "What's the occasion?"
"You'll see. We'll leave at about 6 so you've got time to get ready. And I've cleared this with the school. I got us passes to leave for a good 5 hours before we need to be back."
"Formal or non formal?" She asks.
"I'm going to go with formal." He replies with a smile and love in his eyes.
"Where are we going?" She asked, worried.
"That's a surprise my beautiful lady." He kissed her lips gently. Amy blushed like a little girl and that's what Rory fell in love with. Her adorable blush. Her smile. The way her eyes light up the room. She was a candle to guide him through the dark.
"Tell me you sexy idiot." She grinned at him.
"No can do." He kissed her again, smiling through the kiss. "God I bloody love you." He moaned.
"Okay that's enough of that." Amy giggled and pushed him off of her, smirking. Rory sat up cross legged and frowned.
"You're no fun." He whined like a little kid and sulked.
"You are meant to be 17 not 7 you idiot." She laughed at him.
"So what? 17 year olds aren't all that mature. Just look at the rest of the year group. I mean, David isn't exactly role model material. Nor Dean, Dan and Matt. They do our generation no favours."
"True. You know what? I really fancy pickles. Can we go get some pickles?" Amy asks, feeling the cravings take control. The sooner Friday comes, the sooner the weird food cravings will make sense to Rory.
"Um... okay?" Rory got up and offered her a hand up. "Is the canteen even open still?"
"Hopefully. It's not even that late and dinner is cooking as well." Amy said as she walked through the corridor with Rory hand in hand.
"How are you going to get a pickle? Are you seriously going to ask that you want a pickle?" He asked, bewildered.
"They can't exactly yell at me for wanting a pickle, Rory." Amy mentally face palmed herself.
"Good god woman let's just hurry up and get there."
The two finally arrived in the nice smelling canteen. It was Chicken Tikka Tuesday and Rory's mouth watered at the smell of it. The food here was heavenly. Well, most of it. Sometimes it can be bad like when they try to cook something new and cool and they just mess it up completely.
They walk over to the kitchen door and knock on it for students are not allowed to enter the kitchen without a staff member with them. A few moments later, a Spanish lady opened the door. Chef Gloria was a kind lady but mess with her or her cooks then you are basically dead.
"Hey, Gloria, I'm wondering if you have any pickles?" Amy asks straight out. Gloria gives her the weirdest look.
"First of all, why do you want a pickle and secondly, dinner is going to be ready in like half an hour to forty five minutes." Chef Gloria crosses her arms across her chest.
"I just really need a pickle, please Gloria? I'll still eat dinner. I love your tikka and will eat it anyway but seriously. I really want a pickle." Amy pleads and Rory just stands there like a melon. Unbelieveable to his eyes, Gloria nods and goes to get a pickle. Or well, 4 mini ones in a jar.
"Here you go. You better eat all of the tikka, Pond." Gloria hands her the jar and Amy wastes no time opening it and pulling out the first pickle to eat.
"Oh my gosh that tastes so good." She moaned as she took a bite. Rory didn't know whether to laugh or be weirded out by his girlfriends behaviour.
"Strange child." Gloria shook her head and walked back into the kitchen, closing the door behind her.
"I think we might as well stay in here because I see no point in trekking all the way back to our dorm to then come back and eat. My body isn't cut out for that kind of exercise." Rory stated and Amy just nodded in agreement, too busy enjoying her pickles.
Amy and Rory talked about nothing at one of the dining tables while people set up placemats and cutlery around them, not bothering them in the slightest. It wasn't until River joined them, did they realise dinner was ready and people were cueing up.
"Oh sugar, have we really been talking for that long?" Rory asks, joining the cue with only 20 or so people in front of him.
"Hmmm. Have you seen Matt anywhere? I've been trying to look for him since third lesson." River asked, looking around.
"Nope sorry." Rory shook his head.
"Okay then. He's got Poppy as well so that just makes me more worried."
"Whoa he actually took the baby? I guess I owe David a tenner now." Rory sighed.
"Hey don't go making bets on Matt." River pushed his shoulder slightly to tell him off. In response, Rory poked his tongue out at her.
Dan, Phil, Alfie and Zoe all sat at one small table while eating their chicken tikka. Dan had just finished his after school detention with Mr Meyers and it was hell for him. It was basically an extra 2 and a half hours of Mr Meyers glaring at Dan and provoking him with every word that spilt out of his mouth.
Phil was told by Dan that he was just doing some extra catching up in chemistry seeming as it is the hardest subject. And Phil believed him. But for how long, Dan thought to himself while lying to his boyfriend.
Dan wasn't hungry for anything. He was too worried about tomorrow. And Phil noted it.
"Dan. What's up?" He asked softly, trying to not attract attention. Phil took Dan's hand in his and rubbed the back of it with his thumb.
"Hmmm? Oh nothing." Dan lied. Phil rolled his eyes and pressed on.
"Daniel James Howell. What is wrong?"
"I said nothing, Phil. Please just leave it be."
"Leave what be?"
"Phil." He warned.
"Why won't you tell me? Don't you trust me?" Phil's voice dropped to a whisper. His face fell and he took his hand out of Dans. "If you cannot tell me this one thing then, Dan, damn it, what else have you been keeping from me?"
Zoe sat there in silence. She knew what was up and Dan was just hoping like hell that she didn't say anything. Alfie was just as awkward. They didn't know if they should leave Dan and Phil to argue or not.
"You know what, Phil? I can't deal with this right now. I am tired, failing most classes and all-in-all a total fuck up! The stress is getting to me and I need to be alone right now!" Dan exclaimed and stood up.
"Dan wait!" Phil called across the canteen. People looked at him and Dan, who was still walking away rather quickly.
"Phil, just leave him be for a bit, yeah?" Alfie said softly. Phil nodded solemly and went back to his tikka.
