"C'mon dad let's go!," I said, as he put his golfing supplies in the back of our car.
He laughed and closed the back, walking over to the drivers seat.
We were going golfing today.
"Have fun loves!," mom said from the front doorstep.
"We will," dad said.
We pulled out of the driveway and into the road.
Soon we got to the golfing park.
Dad rented out a golf cart and soon we were on the field.
Some halfway through dad turned to me.
"Tay, I need to go back to the golf house, I need to use the bathroom," he said.
"Okay dad, just leave me the golf balls and clubs and I'll be fine," I smiled.
He took them out of the golf cart and sped away. I laughed. Poor dad!
I took a golf ball out and prepared myself to hit the ball into the hole, when an Irish accent stopped me.
"Hold on, hold on, hold on," he said, touching my arm.
I looked up at his blue eyes and almost squealed, but something told me to stay quiet.
"If the hole is at a forty-five degree angle, you need to stand almost parallel to it in order to hit the ball so it doesn't go flying all the way to the right," he said.
(I really don't know if that's true or not. I've never played golf before, but hey anything can happen in fanfictions;)
I looked at him confused.
He tried to read my mind, by his piercing blue eyes, looking straight into mine.
His frown curved upwards and he smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Um...," I said, looking back down at the ball.
"Ever played golf before?," he asked.
"Mini golf, for fun. But this is the second time dad brought me to the more 'advanced' golfing," I said.
"Ahh, I see. Niall Horan's my name," he said, putting his hand out.
"I know...I'm Taylor," I said, taking his hand.
"You do know me?," he smiled.
"Yes, I'm a big fan," I said, giggling nervously.
"Aha, you hid it well for a while," he winked.
"Thank you?," I giggled.
"So, here, let me explain," he said, walking behind me, putting his hands on my own.
"Number one, feet apart. That's it...two, concentration on the hole and on the ball. Gently swing back and forth, check again to see where the hole is, then lift the club, and you swing," he said.
I nodded, and he let me go, walking a short distance away.
"That's it," he said, watching me closely.
I followed his directions and I swung the club, the ball flying through the air, heading straight for the hole, landing only a tiny distance away from it.
"WOHOOOO!!!," I said, jumping up and down.
Niall clapped his hands.
"Perfect! For a beginner that's amazing! I wasn't able to get it that close to the hole," Niall chuckled.
"Well, with you as a couch, I'm sure anyone could get it right," I said, then blushed.
My phone rang.
"Excuse me for a second," I said, picking it up.
"Yes dad?," I asked.
"Sweetheart why don't you come to the building and we can eat out lunch, hmm?," he asked.
"Sounds like a plan, I'm starving," I said.
"Can I come along," Niall mouthed.
"Dad, do you mind if I bring somebody along?," I asked, giggling.
"Who?," he asked confused.
"Niall Horan," I said.
"Yes, I know it's hard to believe but when you left Niall decided to teach me how to professionally golf," I said.
"Oh wow, of course he can come along! Just do you have a golf cart to get here?," he asked.
I asked Niall, who nodded and pointed to a cart parked up on the hill.
"Yes dad we do," I said.
"Well then see you in a bit," he said.
"Okay bye," I said and hung up.
Niall smiled and picked up my golf bag.
"I've been out here all day, it sounds like a good idea to go in and rest and eat," he said.
"Yeah," was all I managed to say.
We got into the cart and drove towards the building.
"So, your dad is a professional?," he asked, after a while.
"Yes, he couches beginners, like me," I smiled.
"I must say, all those directions I gave, took me four years to get it right," Niall said looking at me.
We got to the building and went in to eat.
Dad and Niall got along really well, and soon we were back on the golf field, until the sun started setting.
"Well, it's been good knowing you, Mr. (your/dads/name)," Niall said.
"It's been good, learning a bit for you too Niall," dad said as they shook hands.
"You probably know a great deal more then me sir, but I was wondering...," Niall said, looking at me.
"Yes?," dad asked.
"Could I ask your daughter out for tomorrow night?," he asked.
Dad looked at me and I mouthed "Yes".
"It would be a pleasure to let me daughter go out with a gentleman like you," dad said.
Niall blushed a bit and they shook hands again.
As we drove home, I talked like crazy to dad, about what would I wear.
"We are you taking me?," I asked, as Niall helped me into his car.
"It's a surprise date," he winked.
He got in and we pulled out of the driveway.
"Can you put this around your eyes?," he asked, handing me a bandana.
"Okay....," I said, a bit nervous.
I tied it around my eyes.
I felt the car stop and Niall helped me out, leading me a short distance and then stopping.
"Taylor, you're the most beautiful girl I ever met...," he said and took my blindfold off.
There on the beach stood Harry, Louis, and Liam, with signs above their heads reading...
"Will You Be My Girlfriend?"
"Yes! A thousand times yes!," I said, turning to Niall hugging him.
He held me tight.
The others cheered.
"So dinner?," Niall asked turning me around where a table was set out for two.
"Why certainly," I answered.
Harry served us food, and then all the boys went to swim in the water.
I giggled as they all acted like five-year-olds.
"I have to be on tour with them every day," Niall chuckled.
"It's probably very fun and entertaining," I giggled.
"Very true," he said.
After we finished eating, we took a walk down the beach, holding hands, watching the sun sink.
Niall turned to me, looking deeply into me eyes.
"So golfing tomorrow?," he chuckled.
"Yes, of course," I smiled.
He did to and leaned in.
As his lips touched mine, we felt water being sprinkled on us.
"Guys I didn't invite you to ruin this moment!," Niall yelled at the boys.
They all laughed and went back into the water.
Niall turned to me.
"Let's try that again," he said, leaning in placing his full lips on mine.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, and we shared the most amazing moment.
He pulled away smiling.
"I think I'm in love with you Tay, can I call you Tay?," he asked cheekly.
"You can call me anything you want," I smiled.
He chuckled and kissed me again.
Hello lovely Taylor! :) I really do hope you enjoyed this imagine, sorry I took me awhile...my bad. But here it is! Please let me know in the comments what you think.
All the love xx
