9. Private Things
I opened my song book and started to jot down notes. Yes, I like to write songs in my free time, I just cant sing in front of people though.
The wind keeps blowing but the stars keep shinning. So I will never give up no matter what blows my way. Oh, you'll still see me shinning, like the stars.
I sang a little and my door opened. "Hey, was that you singing in here?" Niall asked. "No, it was just my music." I said smiling awkwardly. "That's never been a song until you did it. Trust me, I have listened to every kind of music from a lot of artists, but nothing like that has even been sang." He said. Niall walked over to me and sat on my bed.
"What do you have here?" He asked another question. "Why are you so curious about me?" I asked. "Well, you are my stepsister that I just met 3 days ago. I figured I should get to know you better since we're in the same family now." He said. "This is a private thing to me. Sorry." I said holding my songbook closer to me. "So, tell me about your past some more." Niall said.
"My dad died when I was 8-" I started to say. "No no. I mean besides all of that, deeper." He said. "I was born June 29th, 1993." I began. Niall, laying himself on my bed, smiled when I started to go deeper about my life. "I cant say more because those are private things too." I told him and he rolled his eyes.
"Does every single thing have to be so private to you? If your going to have interviews with the press and magazines and all of that, you got to be more open." Niall told me. "Like, what you thought of or how you felt at that time." He finished. "Okay so...? You want me to be more outgoing to a person who I have barely gotten to know?" I asked and he nodded.
