The Heartbreakers

In a land called Raelia lived the Heatbreakers. People that are sent to Earth to break hearts. The more hearts you break, the higher your ranking, and the higher your ranking, the more 'respected' you are. It's weird, but that's what that world is like.

One of the top Heartbreakers is called Zach Clayton. He was famously known as the 'Build and Tear'. Building the girls' hopes high and tearing them apart.

But when Zach meets Ashley, he feels this pull towards her. To him, she was different, and the last thing he wanted to do was to break her heart. But that was what he was supposed to do. When he finally figured out that he loves her, it meant one word. Chaos

Will he choose to break her heart or stay with her? Does he have a choice?

The description may not sound so good but please finish the story, it's got an extreme plot twist ending. Please read the story :)

1. Chapter One

Hey guys! Thanks for reading the story and I hope you'll enjoy it. If you do, don't forget to vote and leave a comment, bad or good, just do so. This will start with Zach's POV so yeah.

Zach's POV

I'm back once more, on Earth. As I walked down the street, I got those longing stares from the girls who loitered around me: as usual. I'm willing to bet my non-existent trust fund that I could just wink at one of them, and they would do anything I wanted them to do.

"Hey Zach!" I sighed and turned around to face the three quarters idiot, one quarter retarded, and complete and utter idiot known as my best friend.

"Sup Troy," I replied. The little idiot looked at me with his usual stupid grin, showing off his pearly whites and bright blue eyes. His surfer blonde hair blowing in the soft, late summer breeze. He opened the door to my red Porsche like a chauffeur for me to get in before promptly seating his arse down on the passengers seat. I sighed and shook my head slightly, turning on the engine.

As we arrived at the Will High parking lot, I parallel parked across two open spots that were obviously not meant for students. As the silly humans say--YOLO right?

"So... How many hearts you gonna smash to bits this time?" Troy asked as he hurried to catch up to my brisk pace.

"I don't know, but enough to not let anyone catch up," I muttered, just loud enough for Troy to hear.

"That ain't surprising," he said, flashing the group of giggling girls in front of the school a wink. I rolled my eyes and walked into the main hall.

Ashley's POV

My phone started ringing and it jerked me awake rather violently from my slumber. I grabbed at it with a weary hand, and with sleep-glazed eyes I took one long look at it and almost shrieked like a banshee. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, holy frickin' moly! On the first day of school too! What the heck was I thinking! I received the call and realised that it was Emma, my best friend.

"Gosh shush woman! I'm almost there Em!" I screeched into the phone that was tucked between my cheek and my shoulder, somewhat precariously balanced. I rushed to the bathroom to wash my face and make myself look as near to presentable as possible.

"Okay... If you say so girl..." Emma said and ended the call, she sounded sceptical but thank god she believed me, or else there would be a tonne of scolding to be had. After I was done in the bathroom, I made a mad dash to my closet and pulled a white tank top over my head, a pair of black skinny jeans with a light blue denim jacket to top it all off. Although I knew for a fact that I was late, I still managed to put on some eyeliner and tie my hair into a fashionably messy bun in record time. I took my backpack and slid down the banister and flew out the front door.

Why didn't my mum wake me up? I thought as I skipped across the lawn to my car. I ignited the engine and began my journey to Will High School.

First day of sophomore year and I'm already late. Fan-freaking-tastic.

Zach's POV

The unnaturally bleached blonde girl that sat on my lap with her boney arse digging into my thighs was leaning in close. The first girl today, but I couldn't make myself sink so low so I pushed her off and walked away. I could feel her glaring bullets into the back of my head but I just ignored her.

"None of the silly girls this year are good enough to suit my tastes, they look like pigs that got blonde extensions and had rolled themselves in a pit of makeup." Troy said as he caught up to me in the hallway.

"Don't be mean," I said and Troy raised a questioning eyebrow, "yeah you're right, they're all terrible."

The bell rand shrilly, signalling registration hour. On the way there, we passed by the main hall and glanced out onto the parking lot. I felt a sudden jolt of feeling down my spine as the object of my focus ran up the stairs, her brown hair blowing around her head.

She burst through the door and ran right pass us without giving us a second glance. The girl dashed up the stairs and disappeared from my sight within five seconds. I shook my head and snapped back to reality. By that time I had made up my mind, she would be my next target.
