9. Chapter three
'The most unusual thing happened lately, that lovely old woman, who had welcomed me into the new town, had died and the boy across the hall made a move. He kissed me, he just walked up to me in my door way, pressed me against the door frame and kiss me.
I should've stopped it, I didn't want him to feel like I was taking advantage or anything but still. I do find him attractive but I generally believe that he is self-centred. He doesn't seem like one of those boys who would put others before him; he did with Marion.
I had just started to finish unpacking everything, but I just hadn't the heart. I felt like a hole had been punched in my chest, something seemed missing. It's like what I was looking for was right in front of my eyes and I just couldn't put my finger on it. This place seemed, empty.
That's it! I should get a room mate! It'll make it seem less empty and the bills can be spilt easier! A room mate, that doesn't seem too bad an idea. Let's do it!'
