We went to my place first so I could get stuff to sleep over.
I said to my mom, "Mom, I am sleeping over Dylan's tonight."
She said, "Okay, be good."
I had gotten my stuff before I told my mom so we left after she finished her sentence.
When we rolled up, there were no other cars in the driveway. I asked, "Are your parents home?"
He said, "No. I actually live alone. My parents got me my own place when I turned eighteen. We have a lot of money. I was gonna go to a boarding school, but I had grown up with friends here and I didn't want to leave them so I go to public school. We we are graduating in a couple weeksut I might go to online school or just not go to school. I mean, I am pretty well off with money and all."
I said, "Oh, must be fun being alone. Well not all the time though."
He said, "Yeah. It will be fun tonight though." I looked down and smiled as he opened the door to his house.
I walked in and said, "Wow! I like your style."
Dylan laughed, "Thanks, we can put your stuff in my room. and then chill in my living room."
He lead me to his room and we put my stuff there and his stuff back in it's place.
I asked, "Can you bring your guitar out in the living room?"
He asked, "Well first, do you wanna get a pizza? And yes I can. I guess we won't be watching a movie tonight."
I said, "Yeah, We should do like a movie day tomorrow or something. Like get a ton of pillows and blankets and lay on the floor in the living room."
Dylan agreed, "Yeah, sounds like a splendid idea. As long as I get to spend time with you, I'm good." I smiled down again as we walked out to the living room.
When I sat down, Dylan said, "Hey during study hall today, when you were working on the computer, I decided to sing you a song if you slept over." He started playing and singing Green Light by 5 Seconds of summer to me. I started laughing. He continued to play and sing, almost laughing a few times as I poked his face.
When he had stopped singing, he asked, "How was that? And I am not asking you to do anything. I just liked the song and figured you did too. If I asked you to do anything, it would be to date you."
I grabbed his hand, "Dylan, I have to be honest. I didn't really notice you until the day Mr. Wilkens called our names at the end of class. My last crush was a smart kid, who was not nearly as cute as you. Not only are you smart, you are cute, nice, caring, and you're mine. I am thankful for you more than 5 Seconds of Summer because, with out you, I wouldn't have been able to go this long without cutting. Thank you." I leaned in and kissed him. This kiss was like no other. It was like, like I was asking Dylan to keep me safe and protect me and he was saying yes. It was like a hug but better. Then again, we were hugging.
Dylan pulled away and said, "Wow. Have you ever kissed anybody else besides me?"
I said, "No, actually. And I am glad."
Dylan smiled, "Well I am glad and honored."
Right then we heard a knock on the door. We went and saw it was the pizza guy. Dylan paid for it and we went back to the living room.
The night was simple, Dylan played guitar, I listened and sang with him, we ate pizza, and we fell asleep. It was nice to finally get to be alone with someone who treated me so well.
