3. My love lasts longer than a thousand years
Omg. This wedding is beautiful. I was just so excited. Taylor stood and smiled at me like an idiot. I held back a giggle. "I do." It's the end. My best friend is married. And I knew she couldn't be happier.
At the reception they dance. "Congrats Lauren." I hugged her. "Congratulations sweetheart." Lauren's aunt, I believe her names Maggie or something like that. "Yeah!" Lauren lifted Melissa up. "It's the first dance." Chase came up behind her. "Okay." They went out on the floor and dance ever so gracefully. At the end Chase came up. "Taylor's gonna dance with Lauren. You wanna sing a duet for the song? I nodded. I stood up there. And shock hit me. My stomach felt icy. "Chase. Get. Me. Down. From. Here. NOW." He shook his head. "You agreed." Then the music started to play. "Heart beats fast, colors and promises. How to be brave? How can I love when I'm afraid to fall." Chase began. I couldn't help it. "But watching you stand alone, all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow." We sang together now. "One step closer. I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more. All along I beloved I would find you. Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more." We sang the rest of the song as Lauren stared at us with tears in her eyes. After the song she came up to us. "That was beautiful." She weeped. "Your ruining my good job." I joked. "Lauren you know that." "Know what?" She asked. "I'll love you for thousands of years. Even more than that." They kissed as Taylor walked over. He kissed me. "Love ya." He said, while staring at them. "Love ya more."
