The next couple of days were uneventful, except the moments I spent with Ethan. Today was Friday, and the last day of school. The last day of my high school career, I can't believe it.
I picked up Ethan and we pulled into the parking lot, only to be greeted by non other then Ben. He couldn't leave us alone, could he?
"Today's the last day I have you guys!" Ben said.
"You never had us, dipshit." Ethan said, clearly annoyed as he reached into the back and grabbed his bag out of my car. I copied his actions and grabbed my bag too.
"Oh, but I think I did." Ben pushed Ethan up against the car, roughly. I have a feeling this is going to trigger something from Ethan's past, and I don't want to see it.
"Dude, back the fuck off! What is your issue with him?" I said.
Ben had his arm across Ethan's chest and he turned to look at me. "Seriously? Nothing, other then the fact he's hanging out with a fat ugly slut like you." And that's when Ethan lost it.
He kicked Ben in his nuts, and as he fell to the ground, Ethan straddled him and began punching the shit out of Ethan's face. The moment I saw blood, is when I knew that it was enough.
"Ethan! Get off of him!" I yelled. There was no reaction.
Ben managed to flip them over so it was Ethan who was now taking the many blows. As the boys rolled around, hitting eachother I tried screaming at them to stop, again, no reaction. This formed a scene and other male students pulled the boys away from eachother.
"You don't want to get caught doing this the last day! It could hold off YOUR graduation!" Said one of the guys in Bens posse, pointing a finger at Ben.
Ethan spit blood out of his mouth at Ben.
"Had enough?" Ethan grinned.
"Fuck off!" Ben said being practically dragged away by his friends.
"What a cunt!" Ethan kicked at the ground in frustration. He kicked his bag, he kicked the tired on my car. He was still in a fury.
"Ethan! Stop it, now." I grabbed his shoulders and looked him in the eyes. "This is enough, okay?"
"But-" he began.
"No. I said enough. If it makes you feel better, he looks a helluva worse then you do.." I grinned and hugged him. "Please don't do this, okay?"
He wrapped his arms around me, "it's not fair the way he treats you."
"He won't be treating me like anything soon, last day of school. Remember?" I smiled.
He pulled away and smiled to. He grabbed his bag with one hand, and my hand with the other. "Let's go."
