The only sound between the group and I was the sound of our forks hitting the glass plate of our dinner. I played with my food as everyone else ate their food. I stared down at my full plate of food and did not take a single bite out of it. I heard Harry sigh and slam down his fork, causing everyone to look up and stare at him with wide eyes. "Dammit Louis. Let's go," he grumbled. I stared back at him in confusion. "Lads, we will be back later. Stay out of trouble," Harry ordered everyone.
"Where are we going?" I asked. I slowly followed Harry out of the hotel room door. We walked down the empty hallway and to the lift. Harry ignored me as he was still in frustration. I sighed and decided to keep my mouth shut until he decides to speak with me. He pressed the down button and the doors opened. We walked in and he pressed the first floor button. The doors closed and I felt the lift shift and move down. The ride down went by quick and soon, we were in the rented car (we rented one earlier in the day) and driving to our destination. We sat in silence. Not a single word was spoken in the car.
"A club," he said. I looked over at him, questioningly. "What?" I asked. "You asked where we are going and I said a club," he said. "What? Harry no," I said, shaking my head. "I knew you would do this," he said, he sighed and shook his head. "You're a mess, Louis. You need to let loose. We need to get your head straight and that is by having fun," he said. "I would rather keep looking for Brooke," I said. "No. I understand but no. Let loose. It's one night and that is it. We are going out," he said. "Harry, no we aren't," I argued. He frowned at me and said, "Dammit it Louis Tomlinson! Stop stressing for one night. I'm taking you out. You need this. I'm worried about your state of mind. What you're going through, now, is not good for you. We are going to this club," he snapped. My eyes widen in surprise at his outburst. I slowly nodded, realizing I do need this. He sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry. We don't have to go if you don't want to. I was only helping," he said.
"Harry, it's okay. I think I do need this. I mean what could happen? It's one night and that's it," I said, smiling. He gave me a small smile and a nod. I sat back as I relaxed. My smile faded a little. I mean, what could go wrong tonight?
The loud music of the club boomed down the streets. We were only two blocks away and you could hear the bass of the music. The club lights shines and twinkled in the dark sky. A crowd of people were outside waiting to be let in by a guard. We pulled up out front and stepped out. An employee ran to the driver side and drove to park it. Harry tipped the man (a very generous tip) before we walked to the entrance. We walked past the frustrated and angry people in line and to a tall, muscular man who wore all black and had a black head set. He had a clipboard in one hand and a pen in the other.
"Name?" he spoke out of boredom. "Harry. Harry Styles," Harry said, flashing him his charming smile. The man, who's name was Charles according to his name tag, scanned the list before speaking, "Ah yes Mr. Styles. Welcome." He opened the red velvet rope as we walked past him before he clipped the rope again. We left all the angry people who were waiting outside in the cold.
The place reeked of alcohol and sweaty people from dancing. People were grinding against one another, people were drinking, and drunks were stumbling everywhere and trying to hook up with girls. The room was dark, but with little light from the colored lights flashing lit the room. I sighed as Harry guided me to the bar. We sat down on a rotated stool which surrounded the counter. A bartender was cleaning a shot glass in front of us behind the counter. "What may I get you gentlemen?" he asked. "Water," I said. Harry gave my shoulder a light shove as he shook his head. "Four tequilas shots with rum and a slice of lime," Harry ordered. "No water," he added. The bartender nodded and went to get out the drinks. "Harry-" He cut me off by putting his hand up while shaking his head. His curls shook before he ran his fingers through them. He licked his lips before speaking. "No," he spoke. "No excuses, no buts, no moping, and absolutely no complaints. We are going to have fun tonight," he said. Our drinks were set down in front of us.
"You know Brooke hates it when we drink," I said. "She won't know," he said, chuckling. "Come on Louis. One night with no regrets," he said. He held his shot glass up as he waited for me to pick mine up and clink it. "It's have fun or you can leave and mope," he edged on. "Go big or go home." I sat back debating whether or not I should stay. I could stay here and have a few drinks and forget about looking for Brooke like she told me to do or I could go back to the hotel and continue to search and do what Brooke would want me to do.
I bit my lip as I shook my head. Forget Brooke. She wants me to forget then so be it. I'll show her that I will forget. I picked up my shot glass as Harry grinned. We clinked drinks and drank the liquid. The tequila burned my throat as I took the shot. Everybody around us roared with cheers. Harry cheered along and yelled, "Let the party begin!" I smiled and took another shot. All my pain was leaving as relief fled through me. My pulse was pumping and my heart was beating rapidly. "I'll have four more shots," I demanded. I slapped down a few twenties and said, "Oh and keep them coming." I gave the bartender a smirk as I started yelling and cheering with Harry. A crowd formed around us as we all took shots. We raised them up in the air before swallowing the tequila.
I gave Harry a pat on the back as he laughed and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I can already feel the alcohol kick in through my system by only two shots. Shot after shot after shot we drank. Everything began to become blurry and fuzzy. By he time we were completely wasted, Harry called over a group of girls. They walked over to us with smiles. There was three of them. They all had heels and short dresses that clung onto their curvy figure. Two were brunettes and one was a blonde.
The blonde had a bright pink dress on, the tall brunette had a red dress, and the short brunette had on a dark blue dress. "Will you three ladies take my friend over here to the dance floor and show him a good time?" Harry slurred as he leaned against the wall with a smirk. A smug grin formed across my lips as the girls giggled and nodded. They took my hand and guided me over to the dance floor which was crowded with a massive group of people.
I had a drink in one other hand and my other was entwine with one of the ladie. I stumbled over my feet, causing the girls and me to laugh. We stopped at the center of the dance floor. I shot down another glass as the girls started to dance around me. A waiter walked by and I set my glass on the tray. I grabbed the brunette with the blue dress by the hips and pulled her close to me. Her cheeks turned bright red as she giggled.
I found her giggle quite annoying, but I didn't care at the moment. I was having fun, letting loose, and having a great time. We swayed our hips along to the music. Her back was pressed against my front side and she had her arms wrapped around my neck. My head was near her ear as we danced. "I'm having a great time," I whispered in her ear, causing her to smile.
Harry was over on the other side with the blonde and brunette. They were chatting about who knows what. The girl, I was dancing with, looked up at me and before she could say anything, I smashed my lips onto her's. We closed our eyes as she deepened the kiss, passionately. I spun her around to face me and I rested my hands on her lower back. I opened my eyes only to have blurry vision, but I can still see if I squinted my eyes.
My eyes looked behind the girl as we still were making out. Then, I saw her. She was dancing with some man as he gripped onto her waist. She caught me staring and a smirk fell on her lips as she let the stranger's hands roam her small body. She wore a tight, short dress with high heels. Her hair was straight and she wore more make up than usual. She watched me as I stared back at her with envy and sadness. She let her neck fall back as the filthy stranger took advantage of her. Her eyes were never leaving mine. Anger filled my veins as I watch another man touch my girl.
I pulled my lips back from the brunette girl as I looked back in her eyes, tearing my gaze away from my girl. The brunette's lip stick was a little smeared from the previous event. I leaned forward and kissed her with aggressiveness. I pressed her back against a wall post in the middle of the dance floor. My eyes never left Brooke. I left small kisses along the girls jawline, then on her lips. I watch her give me a wink before walking towards the exit. I let go of the girl and followed after Brooke, leaving behind a confused girl. I pushed past people as my eyes were still fixed on Brooke. She would look back over her shoulder once in awhile with a smug smile.
I walked out in the fresh open air. The cool air sent shivers up my skin, leaving behind trails of goosebumps. I looked both ways, trying to find Brooke. My eyes landed on her walking down the sidewalk. I followed after her. Her hips swayed side to side with each step. I walked behind her and down the street in the cold air until we arrived at a nearby dock. We walked on the wooden ground until we reached the end. She stood still with her back facing me. I clenched my fist as anger filled me. The previous events filled my mind.
"What was that all about?" I roared. "What was what?" She chuckled as she turned around with wide eyes and a sweet, innocent smile. She acted like nothing had happened. "The events at the club! I'm going to kill that man for touching you like that," I growled. She shook her head and giggled. "There is no need to. I've moved on from you and from the looks of it you did too," she said and winked as she walked past me.
I grabbed her arm, causing her to stop walking. "I never did," I whispered as I hung my head. "That girl was nobody," I said, "I was trying to move on from you like this, but. . . but I couldn't. I've tried many things and nothing worked." She sighed and walked in front of me. "You know I don't like you drinking, Louis. Why didn't you leave and tried to look for me?" She cried. I shook my head and said, "I wanted to but you told me to move on." "Not like this," she cried as tears fell freely down from her eyes. "Why? Why would you go and do that? Why would you do this to me Louis? Why?" She cried as she fell to the floor and sobbed.
I dropped down and wrapped my arms around her. "Am I nothing to you now? Do you still love me?" She continued to cry on my chest as I clutched onto her. "I'm sorry. I was drunk and foolish," I cried. "I love you and no one else," I sobbed. My eyes were bright red from the alcohol and tears.
Then, just like that. . . she vanished from thin air. Like she wasn't even here. I didn't know if I was just seeing things or not. I heard a bunch of footsteps behind me as my name was being called. I sat there lifeless. I stared out at the water with no emotion. Harry ran in front of me and shook me but I spoke nothing.
"Answer me, Louis. Louis? Louis!" Was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
