I felt relieved, as I approached the room where Vanya and Legolas stayed. Vanya were outside, on the balcony, looking over the city. I climbed up the tree, not wanting to go through the bedroom, as I was sure I would see something quite embarrassing.
Vanya said, surprised, that I had climbed up to the balcony. She gave me a hand, making sure I did not fall back down, as I climbed over the railing. And as I stood before her, she hugged me, holding me close.
She whispered with relief in her voice. I hugged her back, as she added.
“My little sister.”
I added, having accepted her. I felt anger towards my father, but I could not feel it towards Vanya. She had not asked to be born under such circumstances.
“Why did you climb the tree? You could have fallen down.”
She said, admitting she had been worried seeing me climbing the tree.
“Well, I have no wishes towards seeing your naked husband in bed.”
I told her. She laughed.
“He does have clothes on… off sorts.”
She said, her cheeks slowly turning red, as she looked through the door to the bedroom.
“He is resting, a short nap as he claimed. Seeing me like that nearly drained him completely of life.”
She said, looking a bit concerned.
“Him and me both.”
I said, and took her back into my arms for yet another hug. She was alright, she was safe.
“How are the others?”
She asked, as I still held her. I did not feel like letting go.
“Better, but in mourning. The elves sing about him, and it eases the pain.”
I told her. She nodded, also hearing the song. I had avoided saying Gandalf’s name I was not sure what it would do to her. I would not risk saying anything that would make her leave me forever.
“We can leave in the morning then I will have healed completely, and you all will have time to rest and pack new supplies.”
She said, her mind way ahead off mine. I was just happy, she was healing and that was all I could think about. I nodded, and heard Legolas call for Vanya.
“On the balcony.”
She answered, letting go of me.
“Well, unless you want Aragorn and who else might have an eye on the balcony see me unclothed, I suggest you come in here.”
Legolas answered, and laughed. That sight I could live perfectly without. Vanya blushed, turning almost completely red. I shook my head, and climbed back down the tree. Legolas was going to be quite annoying, if he kept teasing her like that. And that I might have to do something about.
