“Where is Frodo?”
Pippin suddenly asked, bringing his disappearance to our minds.
“Where is Boromir?”
I asked, becoming increasing worried, that he too was missing. I had seen his strange looks towards the ring, and for too clearly I remember the council.
“Spread out. Find them!”
Aragorn ordered, no longer in the mood to laugh. He was far too concerned, for he too had noticed Boromir change in behavior.
As Legolas and I were the fastest, we spilt up and went separate ways to cover more ground. Pippin and Merry joined me, as we desperately searched.
But Frodo was nowhere to be found.
I kept searching, until a heartbreaking feeling made me fall to my knees.
Both Pippin and Merry said, rushing back.
“Something is here. Something evil and it is getting closer. We must find the others, before it is too late.”
I said, getting back on my feet. We ran to find the other, when suddenly they were there. Right behind us. Orc-like beings, but taller and if possible even uglier.
I called out to the hobbits, causing them to run even further. But the beings caught up with us, and I pushed the hobbits aside as a spear was thrown. It slammed into the ground where Pippin had been just minutes ago.
I shouted at the hobbits, and stopped. In a single motion, I stopped grapped my long bladed knifes and killed one of the beings. But these were tougher than normal orcs and harder to kill. It was possible, but I needed help or I would be overrun.
And help came, in the form of Boromir wilding his long sword. He broke through the circle of beings, and we ended up back to back, fighting for our lives. But it worked we were pushing the beings back. And it drew their attention towards the hobbits.
I said, needing to say no more. Boromir picked up his horn, and used it. It caught some of the beings attention again, but better yet. They others could find us. The flat side of an axe suddenly broke through my defense, hitting me hard on the side of my head.
