"Thanks," I sniffle, "For everything, Kyle. I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for you." I thank my best friend, and he nods. "It's no problem. What are friends for?" He chuckles.
The doorbell rings, and Joey runs back in the room. "Kyle, can you help me potty?" He asks. "Don't you want me to help you?" I ask. "No thanks, Mommy. I'm a big boy, and big boys help each other!" He grins.
"Alright, if it's okay with Kyle." I glance at Kyle, and he nods. "Come on, little man!" They walk off, and I go to answer the still-ringing door.
"Listen I need to talk to-" Niall looks up. "Oh, I thought Kyle was going to answer the door. " His eyes are puffy, and his face is red. "What do you want? I thought you didn't want anything to do with us." I state.
" I do. I really do. I want everything to do with you both! You're my family. Just, please, please come home." He begs, and Joey comes running to the door.
"Daddy" He hops into Niall's arms, and I feel the corners of my mouth twitch. "Is everything ok?" Kyle whispers, barely audible. I give a slight nod, and he goes back to watching the television.
"Please? Can we give it another shot?" Niall asks. "Niall. You need to understand, I'm not just being stubborn. You said some pretty hurtful things.." A tear slips, and I wipe it away. "You said those things in front of Joey." I whisper.
"And I'm sorry!" He starts to cry too. "Please forgive me." I can't let him be this way. It's so pitiful. "Alright.. Just remember, Horan, this might be your last chance." I say.
He kisses me softly. "Thank you so much!" He picks up Joey, and I head back in to get my stuff. "Hey, Kyle, I'm heading home. Call me anytime, alright?" I weakly smile. "Same to you." He smiles and waves to Joey.
I hug Kyle and our lot heads back to Liam's.

"Thank god! I didn't know what I would do if Niall dated someone else!" He hugs me, and hands Niall sleeping Reese. "Here ya go. That'll be twenty dollars. I charge ten bucks an hour." He slyly grins.
"Oh, shove a sock in it." Niall swats him, and I laugh. "Mum, I'm tired." Joey yawns, tugging at my shirt. "Alright, baby, let's go home." We say good bye to Liam, and head back home.
