The Lost City

1. Prologue

Poseidon had his back to Zeus, pursing his lips in annoyance. "I will not drown a city," he blazed, "purely because one if them mistook an eagle for a hawk and shot it down."

Zeus glared at him, eyes burning with fury, "Then how, brother, will we sustain our community?" He took Posiedon's shoulder, turning him to face the raging fire. "How, Poseidon, will we stop them all rebelling?"

Poseidon said wearily, "Fine. But I'm not happy about this."

And so Atlantis drowned.
