When we walked into Kings Cross Station two men in cloaks came over to us, and I have to admit I was a bit scared at first, I thought they were going to kill us for a second. But it soon became clear that these were the people instructing us how to get to the school, they led us to a column in between platform 9 and 10 and they told us to run straight into it, then they asked who wanted to go first.
Without thinking, I raised my hand and said "I will." in a small, shaky voice. Kayla glanced over at me, eyes wide, like I was crazy. But I ignored her and ran through the wall. Once I reached the other side of the wall I saw a big red train labeled "The Hogwarts Express".
Ellie came through next and the first thing she said was "wow"
After all of my friends came through we boarded the train and tried to find a empty compartment, but they all were taken, Julie, Kayla, and Ellie join a compartment with a girl named Ginny, a girl named Luna, and a boy named Neville. We found one with two boys and one girl they definitely weren't from our school and I asked if we could sit there.
"Of course!" The girl says.
"Thank you!" I reply.
One of the boys with orange/reddish hair starts to ask " What are your names?"
After Bri says her name I say " My names Madison, but all my friends call me Maddi."
" I like that name," The girl states, " mine is Hermione Granger," then she points to the boy with the red hair and says " that's Ron Weasley," and then she points to a boy with black hair and a weird scar on his face," and that's Harry Potter."
" Hermione, I really like your name, it's so beautiful." I tell her.
" Oh that's so amazing!" She reacts.
Some one else walks into our compartment and the boy who Hermione just told me was Harry Potter immediately snaps to attention and puts his hand on a stick thing in his pocket. The boy that walked in captured my eye immediately, he was gorgeous, he had slicked back bleach blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He starts to speak, looking directly at me "What's wrong with your hair?"
I subconsciously guide my hand up to play with my pastel blue ombré hair.
" It's not any of your business Malfoy!" Harry retorts as I was about to speak.
" Let the mudblood speak Potter." The boy who Harry referred to as Malfoy says in disgust.
I feel like the word Mudblood is a pretty bad insult because Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked about to kill him. Of course, I can't stay out of an argument so I stand up and get in the Malfoy boys face and say calmly, "I dyed it blue because I didn't like being a blonde."
" Whatever!" Malfoy says angrily. He's sort of attractive when he's angry. It's a bit unnerving.
Apparently I was staring because Hermione says to me " He is a jerk, stay away from him."
I nod my head, but think, okay, now he isn't gonna want to be my boyfriend. My thoughts are interrupted by two boys, that both look exactly like Ron, come into the cabin and say to Ron, Harry, and Hermione, " Robes on, we are 5 minutes away!" They turn to walk out, but then notice me and Brianna and turn back to Ron to say at the same time " So are you going to introduce us to these lovely ladies, little brother!" Hermione starts to laugh when she notices Ron blushing.
Ron points at me and says " That's Maddi," I shoot them a small smile, " and that's Bri." he says pointing at Bri now. He continues by pointing at one of the redheads and saying " That's George," and then the other one " that's Fred."
" Well I hope to see you around school!" George says.
" We REALLY do!" Fred mutters under his breath while walking out the door.
Once they leave I ask Hermione a question that has been bugging me all day, " What do you do at your school, I mean, it seems different!"
Hermione looks at me in shock and gasps " They didn't tell you?!?"
"Tell us what?" I ask desperately.
"Well..." Hermione shifts uncomfortably in her chair, "We aren't really normal, Maddi, we are wizards and witches. We can cast spells and have wands and everything."
"Really!?!" I ask in shock.
"That's so cool!" Brianna practically screams.
Hermione, Ron, Harry explain to us all about magic until the train comes to a stop.
"We take carriages from here to the school, want to share one with us?" Ron offers.
Bri and I nod our heads excitedly as we climb into the carriage.
