1. The letter
I hate school. No one notices me. No cares. It’s like I am in another universe a billion miles away. But I don’t care. I’m different. I can make things happen, magical things. Good, and bad. My whole family are wizards and I guess I am too. So I am pureblood. I have heard a lot about both the wizarding world and the muggle world. To be honest I think muggles and squibs are pretty useless, but that’s my opinion, and everyone has their own opinion.
‘Zaria Leona Tourmaline get downstairs right now!’ my mother shouted. I sighed, my mother only ever calls me by my full name when it is something important. Usually it’s bad though. I ran downstairs to find a giant cake on the kitchen table in the shape of a Quidditch pitch. ‘Happy Birthday Zaree!’ exclaimed Arabella my adorable little sister. I hugged her and smiled ‘Thanks mum’.
My mother said I wasn’t allowed to eat the cake until this afternoon when we were going to play Quidditch with the Potters, Weasleys and Luna’s family. I don’t mind muggleborn’s like Hermione, but some of them are a bit annoying.
‘Your Hogwarts letter should arrive soon’ my father said just as an owl came flying through the window onto my arm. I took the letter attached to the owl leg and read:
