62. Banner No. 62
"I don't like fire," the little girl said, hiding behind her grandfather's leg. "It destroys everything."
Grandfather chuckled. "If you don't like fire, what do you like?"
"Water!" she responded immediately. "It's beautiful, and I love to swim!"
Grandfather smiled and moved to his chair by the fire. "Come here, Peyton," he said, opening his arms. Peyton cautiously moved to him, giving the fireplace a wide berth. "What do you feel?" he asked as she crawled onto his lap. She tilted her head in confusion. "Look at the fireplace. What do you feel on your face?"
She did as she was told and closed her eyes, unable to stop the smile that slowly spread across her face. "Warm!" she said gleefully. She reached her hand out to the fire, grandfather making sure she didn't fall.
"You see?" He smiled. "Fire doesn't just destroy. It also creates. Just as water does both, too."
Peyton turned to grandfather and tilted her head. "Water can... destroy?"
Grandfather nodded slowly. "Both of them create and destroy. And that's the way it always has been, the way it always will be."
So this was another spur-of-the-moment thingy. I desperately wanted to make a banner, and this came to be :3
