1. The Present time
Niall can't understand where he have the photos. A sense of lost has emerged in his body and he can't stop missing. But what is it he lacks? He has only small memories of small moment. He remembered the feeling in his body, the feeling of being weak in the knees, feel the thrills and blush just because she looked at him. He remembered so well that feeling and she's the only one that has made him feel that way. Four years ago, the both of them was as a single unit. There Niall was, was always she and she was always the one who made him feel so unique. She was unique, but he never said that to her. It was as if they had flirted with each other, but they remained just friends, right to the end. He remembered her lips, her gorgeous face and her eyes that avoided him, just because she blushed and looked away.
"Where the hell did I put the photos?"
He chose a new tactic. He walked through the door to the wind. He hadn't thrown anything from before he became famous. He had everything in boxes, everything that she had ever given him. The dried rose, she gave him "just for the girls certainly can give guys roses too!" He opened a big box, and he froze. There were it all, there were all the memories and all that she had ever done for and with him. He swallowed, and he felt the whole body tingled. He missed her. It was such a loss that he couldn't remove. In four years he had tried not to think about her. In four years he had avoided the truth and now he had reached that moment when he can't stop.
Slowly, he takes up a small box. He opens it carefully and find the necklace she had given him a long time ago. "I love you forever!" It was after they had realized, in the end, that they would be together. A month later, Niall went to the X-factor and he realized it wouldn't work. He had gone further in the competition and he had won so much. Yet he lost the most precious thing he had. He lost Jenny and she slipped away into the fog.
"It wont work between us!" had Niall said. But the truth was that he was afraid. He was afraid that she wouldn't stay with him, and instead of waiting for the day when she would end the relationship, he did the only drastic as he had ever done.
"Jenny, I brake up, I let you go free."
Niall felt so small. He sat on his knees in front of the box and he took up a photo of her. The tears came and he couldn't explain why he reacted in that way.
"Damn!" he almost shouted to himself. "I'm pathetic!"
He looked at her face. It was the day before he had left. She wore a gorgeous dress and she smiled big. They had fantasized about what would happen if he had become famous. Jenny had giggled and in her innocent way she had looked at him. "I will be your biggest fans." she had said. "I'd sit and watch you when you sleep and I would know that you're mine, all mine."
Niall collapsed into a pile. Four years of emotion swept over him and he couldn't stop. He was crying and he was shaking. He lay down in fetal position on the floor and he realized that he had withheld the truth for so long. He still loved Jenny and she was the only one he loved, that he had ever loved. He cried because he loved her and he was crying because he hadde let her go.
