3. I hurt her
Niall had the sweater, which she once had borrowed from him. It was black, had a goofy stripe straight across the fabric, and she had so many times had it on. Niall felt almost her scents through the fabric.
"What the hell am I doing?"
He put it all together and he was going to put the box away. He hesitated about over if he wanted that it would bee in the attic? No, it didn't fit in a dusty place. He took the box down to the kitchen and he placed it on the kitchen table.
"That you would have liked?" he murmured, and it was to Jenny, he said the words. Unconsciously, he wanted that she would show up. Jenny had just laughed and shook her head at him.
"Niall you are so weird sometimes!" she had said, put her head askew and just laughed. Niall missed her laughter. He missed her cheerful mood and he lacked her eyes twinkled as he just looked at her. The first kiss he remembered so well. It was tentative, shy and almost nasty wonderful. It was as if it was the beginning of everything. They had been to the cinema, a crappy movie, and on the way home, he had taken her hand. She had blushed and that was when it happened. Niall could no longer go back to what he knew. He almost pressed his lips against hers and he blushed when she answered the kiss. They had stood there, under a tree, a long time before he ended the kiss. He had wanted to scream, shout, and he had wanted to do so much, but instead he just smiled and she smiled back. Then they had walked home, still with her hand in his. Her soft hand, her kind hand and her wonderful hand.
"Are you home?"
Niall was startled. He quickly closed up the lid and his brother Greg showed up. He stood in the door and he just stared at Niall.
"You've been crying?"
Niall waved off the idea.
"No, I just thought about life before all this."
Greg smiled slightly and he saw the box on the table.
Niall nodded. Greg sighed and he seemed almost annoyed.
"You broke up with her, Niall. And if you are looking her up today, she will live a different life. I think you hurt her and she will never forgive you."
Niall agreed. The truth hurt, but he needed the truth.
Greg sighed again.
"Live on!" he whispered sweet. "Forget about her and continue with your life."
Niall wiped away the last tears, and then he smiled at Greg.
Greg grinned easily.
"Are you with me?"
"Dear brother, we'll go to the pub and have some fun. I think you need it."
