Sage got home from school that day and checked the mail again. "Wow, he is a quick responder. Or maybe he is just that way to Jenny". She thought. She walked into her room and closed the door. Sage sat at her desk and carefully opened up the letter. She read the letter slowly and laughed. "Niall doesn't seem like a bad guy at all, but honestly, he is telling things to the wrong girl. Do I regret some things in my life? Yes, and this is barely one of them. Jenny is going to find out sooner or later." Sage told herself.
Jenny had to work at the café this afternoon, so that gave Sage just a little bit more of time to write a nice letter. Besides, she has to make Niall believe that she is actually Jenny.
So you have dreamed of us about doing things together? I think its really sweet how you still think about us together. I have liked "okay" guys, but never dated them or loved them like I did you. I haven't been with one guy since we broke up, that proves something right?
And yes, I work at the café on Castle Street near Mullingar Town Park. So when do you think you will be home? I smelled your letter for the record, I love it. Your right, scents can say a thousand things about a person. From smelling, you're sweet, kind, funny, likeable, and talented.
Niall, you have changed and then you haven't. But the parts you have changed, I really love about you. That means stay you right now. I feel the same way about you, you have a special place in my heart. I would be happy to spray some of my perfume on this letter. Every time I wear it, it makes me think of you. I started wearing this kind of perfume ever since we had started dating. I still wear it to this day, sometimes though.
Ah, you and your food. I guess its a good thing I still love food then. I cant wait to see you soon, Niall. Here is my perfume for you. Its something that might remind you of me...I hope! Just let me know when your coming home and maybe we can get together soon. Write back soon!!!
Sage finally finished the letter. It was hard for her to be Jenny in some ways and write the way she would. She ran to sister's room and sprayed Jenny's favorite perfume on the letter."I hope I don't regret any of this, but I am already feeling a little guilt that I am lying to Niall about me being Jenny. I hate this feeling." Sage said as she slid the letter into the mail box that evening.
Jenny got home from the café that night and it was getting late. She sat in her room and was looking around on the internet. A comment popped up on twitter. "Cant wait to come home soon and hang out with some of my old friends, and family." The comment was from Niall. Jenny closed her lap top and sat there for a minute, thinking. "What am I doing?" She asked herself. Sage sat there in the middle of the night, think about Niall too.
Sage wants her sister to be happy with Niall, not regret for ever being with him. If only Jenny knew what Niall was trying to tell her in the letters that he was sending her. She had also tried to write letters to him, but they ended up being unwritten letters or never mailed letters.
