I glance over my shoulder at the girl sitting on the steps in front of the pedestal. "Dean we can't just leave her here." I say and turn back to face them.
"We're not, we're going to get rid of her." Dean says.
My eyes widen. "You're joking."
"No, I'm not. We don't know whose side she's on and-"
"She doesn't know what's going on!" I protest.
"Just, why don't we talk to her?" Sam cuts in.
Dean glares at him before sighing. "Fine. We'll talk to her."
I let out a relieved sigh and start toward the seraph. "Alright, kid, let's talk." Dean snaps.
The girl looks up, stray strands of straw colored haired falling over her face. "About what?" She asks.
"About you, and the war." Sam says.
The girl tilts her head, a confused gleam passes in her eyes which can only be described as a very blue, blue. "Which war? One in Iraq or...?"
"No!" Dean lets out an exasperated sigh. "The war between angels."
"Oh..." The girl says. "I'm not very clear what's happening up there, so maybe you could tell me?"
"How don't you know what's going on?" Sam asks, shock written on his face. "You're a Seraphim."
Cas is staring the girl down. "Tell us what you know." Cas says bluntly.
The girl furrows her eyebrows before speaking, "I showed up not long ago. I'm not sure how long I was in heaven before tension started growing. I heard about some angels attacking others and losing grace, but other than that I was isolated. The older angels kept me away from the others pretty well. When some angel going by Castiel fell, that's when we started making plans to leave."
She ran her tongue over her top lip. "We ended up down here, the others occasionally checking on me, and then an angel showed up a few days ago and attacked me. Then more came after him."
She sighs loudly and looks at her hands, folded in her lap. "I'm so confused." She mutters.
I pass a hand through my hair, and sigh. "Well now we know she has absolutely no idea about the war."
Dean lets out a frustrated groan. "But why would she not know?"
"Why don't you find that Castiel guy and ask him? He's probably pretty important in this war." The girl says.
"I'm Castiel." Cas spoke up.
The girl looks up at him and raises her eyebrows. "Well then I can't help you. You were only here to kill me right?" She asks.
Dean stiffens. "Forgot about the mind reading." He mutters.
"We also wanted that gate piece to put it back into heaven. So just give it to us and we'll leave you alone." Sam says.
"Sorry, that's not happening." She says and stands up.
I clear my throat. "What's your name?" I ask.
"Gabriella." She says. "But you can call me whatever."
"Gabriella? That's a pretty name. Guess you got compared to Gabriel a lot?" I say.
Dean and Sam cast me confused looks. "Yeah, why?" Gabriella says, a bit defensively.
"No reason, though it might be important. I'll make you a deal." I offer.
"Zhanna, no way we're making a deal with her. She's like twelve years old." Dean interrupts.
"I'm fifteen!" Gabriella snaps.
"Gabriella, you come with us and bring that piece with you and we'll get you back into heaven and keep you safe." I continue.
Dean and Sam start to protest but Cas speaks up, "No angels or demons will hurt you while you're with us. It will also give me a chance to figure out why Father made such a young girl a Seraphim."
Gabriella looks at us before a wide smile spreads across her face. I spot a chip in her right tooth and faintly wonder how she got it. "Ok." She agrees.
