"Woah, woah, woah. Back up. You're my father?" I turned looking at him. He smiled and I grinned back happily. I ran to him and gave him a hug, one he gladly returned. I was so happy I found him. "Will I get to meet Mom?" I asked slowly pulling away, with a frown on my face. He nodded his head and my grin returned. Harry was watching us, amused. I ran to him and hugged him too. Harry spun me around a little and I could see my father's face. I expected protectiveness to show up but instead it was a look of, I'd say, knowing? I didn't see much more because Harry released me and blocked my view.
"Harry, if he's the leader of the royal army, then why did he bow to you?" Harry's face reddened and he lifted his good arm to scratch his head.
"Ummmm," Harry was cut off by the second person who was in the booth, before the assassin came.
"Excuse me? Sir!" The man yelled to Sir Montague. "I'd really like to be unfrozen now!" Sir Montague chuckled as raised his palm, pointing it to the man. A small burst of fire came out and melted the ice that had surrounded the man. I stood in wonder. He stood up and brushed himself off, very prissily I might add. He reached out his hand to me.
"Hello, Cathleen. My name is Fredrick Calclan, Sir Montague's right hand man," he smiled a little and then returned to his stoic position. He noticed Harry and bowed, "Oh your hig..." Harry cut him off with a nervous laugh and Fredrick seemed to understand. He rose up and addressed Sir Montague, "Sir, seeing as though someone tried to kidnap you, I feel we should return to our realm." Arthur nodded and he looked at me sadly.
"Oh do you have to go?" I asked, trying to sound polite, hiding how upset I was. Arthur came over and gave me a hug.
"I'll be back," he whispered in my ear. He then pulled away and kissed the top of my head. I closed my eyes and smiled. I reopened them and Harry had appeared beside me and he placed his good arm around my shoulders. He pulled me close to him and I felt his warmth and realized I was shivering from cold. I looked up and him and noticed he was already looking at me with some emotion in his eyes. I couldn't figure it out. He gestured with his head to the two men in front of us. So I turned to look. They were opening a portal using their powers and saying some words. I realized, if they could create a portal, why did no one come back for me after I didn't go through? I was pulled away from the thought as I watched Fredrick step through the portal. Then Arthur turned around and looked at me one last time. It seemed he was trying to memorize me. He waved a goodbye and slipped into the portal. It closed directly after he was through, and I heaved a sigh. Harry looked at me in concern, "Are you tired?"
I could barely nod and slipped to the floor. Harry crowded over me and I laid down.
"Maybe if I just lay here I'll gain my strength back," I whispered. My eyelids felt heavy and I drifted off into my dream-state.
