I woke up around 9:30 am. My hands were wrapped in bandages from last nights meltdown. They stung but not too bad. I got up from my bed and walked toward my bathroom to wash my greasy hair. After I put on skinny jeans and a Nirvana shirt with a gray hoodie over it. Then I put my hair in a messy bun and put on some eye make up.
I went downstairs to watch some T.V. I checked my phone to see that I got a message from Harry. Finally.
From A Very Sexy Guy:
Hey, Tonight is it okay if I picked you up at 7 for a nice, romantic dinner date?
It's sweet that he asked.
To A Very Sexy Guy:
Sure, that's fine. Where are we going?
He responded very shortly.
From A Very Sexy Guy:
For me to know and you to find out. Oh, and just dress nice.
I put down my phone and sighed. I don't know if I should do this. I mean, I don't even know this guy and we're already going on a date? Not to mention he kinda forced me to. I checked the time,10:03. I had plenty of time before the date. I watched re-runs of "Doctor Who" till 12:00. All of a sudden I started to panick.
What am I going to wear ? How am I going to do my makeup? Or my hair. If I'm going to be forced into a date then I might as well enjoy it. Right? I screamed into a pillow. What about that girl down the hall? Jazz! I'll see if she can help. I put on my black converse and walked down the hall and knocked on the door. "Wait a just a minute please!" I heard someone say. A few seconds later Jazz had a towel wrapped tightly around her and her wet hair in a low ponytail.
"Oh! I'm sorry I'll come back later. This seems like a bad time." Her eyes went wide.
"No! It's fine! I just got out of the shower. Well, as you can see." She laughed. "Please come in."
She stepped back to let me in. I walked in and gave her a small smile. Her flat looked exactly like mine but with much more pink. Her couch was pink, her lamps were pink, her fuzzy carpet was pink, she had pink picture frames, everything was pink but the floors.
"Please, have a seat. Make yourself at home. Let me get dressed very quick then we can talk." She went upstairs for about 20 minutes then came back down. "Sorry, I had a little trouble I guess you could say. Anyways, let's start over. Hi! What brings you here?"
I smiled at her as I looked into her big, blue, owl eyes. "I was wondering if you could help me with something."
"Like what? Oh! Do you need help hiding a body? Don't worry I have a plan. This is what we do."
I giggled." No, nothing like that. It's more like a fashion/first date kind of thing."
She burst into a fit of giggles. "Ohhh! What do need? I have makeup, I can do your hair, we can go shopping! That's it! We will go shopping, get a cute little outfit for you and me if he has a friend, we can our nails done! Let's go now!"
She grabbed her keys, purse, and my arm. "Come on! Hurry! We don't have all day!"
"Wait a minute!" She let go of arm and turned to face me.
"What's the matter? Wait, is because we just met and you're afraid I'm really taking you somewhere so I can kill you? If you want we can go separate but if you don't know the way to the mall, then your going to have to follow me. From here it's about 30 minutes. And-"
"No that's not it." I said cutting her off. "It's just, this is happening really fast. We need to stop by my flat so I can get my phone and purse and stuff. And for some reason I feel like I can trust you."
"Oh. Then we can stop by your flat and if you want I can call a cab. I just grabbed my keys cause I wasn't really thinking and getting a cab is really hard. And I jump to conclusions a lot which pisses people off all the time. So yeah." She said while rubbing her arm.
"It's fine. Really. Your the first nice person I really talked to and I need friends like that." Her smile was so big I thought it was going to take up her whole face."Plus, I haven't been shopping in a really long time."
She walked over to me and hugged me. "Thank you. A lot of people can't "take" me, so it's makes me very happy to meet people like you." I smiled. We walked to my flat picked up some of my stuff then headed out. We drove in Jazz's car which we didn't stop talking and singing to the radio in. This might just be a good day.
Felicity is super nice. She lets me talk and talk without getting annoyed and she laughs with me instead of at me. I hope we become good friends. I'm so excited that she came to me for advise for dating. I hope for boys though. I don't know anything about dating girls.
After we sing along to "Wrecking Ball" we were pulling into the parking lot. "Hey, you are going on a date with a guy, right? I don't judge, I just don't know anything about that stuff." She burst of laughing. "No. It's a guy. I only date guys. And I don't judge or know about that kind of thing either."
"So, we are here! Let's go!" He got out of my car and went into the mall. He went to Forever 21 first. "Felicity."
"Hmm" She looks up at the dress she was looking at.
"What are you looking for and where are you going for a date."
"Oh! Yeah, sorry for leaving you in the dark. Well, he said it was a surprise but he said to dress nice. So, I have no idea." I laughed.
"Well, you want to wear something that you would wear to like church but not something you would wear to a concert or something you would wear to meet the queen. So, maybe a nice summer dress since it's going to be warm tonight."
"Okay, well we should get looking he's picking me up at seven."
Shit. We are going to have to hurry. We have to pick the perfect outfit and shoes then we have to go back to my flat so I can do her makeup and hair (if she wants me to do it).
"Then we better get to business-"
"To defeat the Huns!" She says cutting me off.
"You know from Disney's movie Mulan. It's one of the songs. Forget it" We started giggling. Yep, this is going to be great.
After a great day of shopping with Jazz we went back to her place to get ready. We picked out the perfect dress. Actually, Jazz did. She said I kept picking out dresses too conservative. She said to make him see what he wants. But she kept picking up dresses too slutty. Together we picked out the perfect dress. Now all there is, is the date.
