5. An animazing day out
After packing food and all the essentials needed for a two year and an eight month old, they were in the car heading out to London Zoo. They arrived quite quickly so went a paid before heading in to see the animals. They went to the giraffes first and Sofia was amazed at the giant funny patterned (as she called it) animal. "Look Aubz!" Meg said, pointing up to the giraffe, Aubree squealing in laughter at the baby giraffe trying to eat some leaves which were close to her. "Where should we go next, Sof?" Joe asked his daughter as they walked away from the giraffes. "Elephants!" Sofia squealed, running over to the enormous grey elephants. Sofia stood for 10 whole minutes staring and laughing at all the elephants, Aubree just sitting in her pram playing with a pram toy after 2 minutes. After walking round the whole area where the giraffes and elephants were, they sat down for dinner as it was already 12:50. After feeding Aubree her ellas kitchen food pouch and Sofia stuffing her face with whatever she could find, they started walking round again and before they knew it, it was 4:30. "Come on, Sof. We need to get home to give you two baths." Meg said_ seeing Sofia's muddy converses and knees. "Mummy! I want to see the giraffes again!" Sofia squealed. "No Sof, we need to get home. The baby's really tired, sweetie." Joe said, looking at a half asleep Aubree in her pram. "I'll bring you back one day when Aubree's a little bit older, OK.." Joe said, picking up Sofia so they could leave and get home. After the drive back, Meg bathed Aubree, put her in her PJs and gave her some food before putting her down to bed and then tackled the job of bathing Sofia, who ate her tea whilst she bathed Aubree. She dunked Sofia in the bath, washed her hair and got her out as fast as she could. After putting her into clean Ariel PJs, she brushed her teeth and went to the loo herself and fell asleep straight away in bed, cuddling the toy elephant Joe bought her before they left.
